Encrypted Text: The lazy combat build, part 2 {WoW}

Mar 29th 2012 12:55AM I've been healing for my guild all of Cata, and now that we're heading into down time, I decided to revive my original toon, a rogue from early WotLK. This series was perfectly timed for me and got me right back up to speed. thanks! very well done. As a few have said here this is great for new players I plan on linking it to some of the new rogues lvln in our guild.

Also, I second the request for a similar guide for Sub (pve)! I'm playing Combat right now, basically for the reasons given here, it got me going and up to speed quickly. Personally I find the sub rogues rotation/abilities/tool box much more engaging, and therefore, for myself much more intriguing and would really appreciate a general overview of how it all is suppose to work!

Mar 21st 2012 8:14AM I thought the previous dungeon live streams were nifty. :D

Reader UI of the Week: Mnemonics' versatile shadow priest UI {WoW}

Mar 21st 2012 7:59AM Very clean, I would personally have to ditch the buffs at the top, sorta of sticks out with how clean the rest is, maybe raven could help clean that up.

Anyone else notice 17fps??? All those shinies might be severally stressing your comp with a decent dps decrease as a result...my two cents.

The state of DPS in early Dragon Soul, page 2 {WoW}

Dec 29th 2011 3:45PM Wow, these are much more balanced then the results in the past article showing the state of DPS in late firelands.

I agree with some of the posts here noting that later in the tier we will probably see some numbers bounce up, but currently it's nice to see the DPS is in such a balanced state, if not one of the most balanced states its ever been in?

@Imnick The "randomness" and "luck" of fire spec crits and hot streaks, should balance out over the pool of data that has been collected. Although there are parses with people that have had great hot streaks, there are also most likely parses where people have had bad luck with hot streaks in the data pool. I believe there was recently and article on here about critical strike chances and how it balances out over a larger pool of data.
