Have Group, Will Travel replaced with faster flight paths, flask "Chug-A-Lug" perk removed {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 4:19PM Havent used flightpaths in a long LONG time on my main since epic flying is actually faster than bought flights.

You save time at the beginning and end where they loop, save even more time by flying direct instead of looping around but most importantly the actual raw speed is faster too.

And it means you can jump off at any point if you something something you wanna grab/kill.

Maybe with these changes the FP's might actually be useful again? It'd have to be a significant increase though.

Mists of Pandaria: Yes, you get another character slot {WoW}

Mar 19th 2012 2:58PM As everyone is saying, since they cant roll a Pandaren AND a Monk, we all get to look forward to 10million Pandaren Monks running around come MoP since we dont have any other choice :(

Mists of Pandaria: Siege of Orgrimmar {WoW}

Mar 19th 2012 2:45PM !!! SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVENT READ THE BOOKS STOP NOW !!!

(Disclaimer : I'm an Alliance-main player, so you cant think of this as horde-bias)

Garrosh didn't order the attacks on the druids.
Garrosh thought he was fighting a fair fight with Cairne, and was very angry when he found out the truth.
Garrosh has been strictly sticking to his code of honour.
Garrosh truly believes in the Horde and furthering their cause.

He's not really a bad guy. If they will be making him do something TERRIBLE (warcrimes)and using it as a reason to remove him from power then it will have to be pretty contrived, as it will be totally out of character for him.

Its like Illidan in W3, he sacrifices his form for the good of his people, almost takes out the Lich King until the rest interfere, then all of a sudden TBC comes out and he's a bad guy, and most people who have never played the RTS games or read the books just assumes he's a bad guy.

:(

Is reforging a hit or a miss? {WoW}

Mar 13th 2012 2:04PM Hmm, that didnt come across properly at all.

What I meant to say was that for my main yes I do gem and reforge (and to a lesser extent enchant) and I have no problems holding my own in groups and we finish the dungeons no problem.

In some of these dungeons though I often see people come in with lower-level gear who are obviously trying to upgrade it so didnt bother gemming it, and others in the group try to vote-kick them for having crappy gear. I always say No to the vote, since I know my alts will get to that point one day (they are all under 80 atm so have no gems) and I wouldnt want to be kicked even when I know how to play just because I didnt spend time/effort/gold on a gem that will be used for hours before I replace the gear.

Is having the lowest (+5 ?) gems in their slots really so much better than having no gems?

Is reforging a hit or a miss? {WoW}

Mar 12th 2012 8:06PM As a casual player having gems AND enchants AND reforging on gear is a pain! Especially for gear you'll be upgrading as you go along.

Makes sense for gear at end-game raiding, but for heroics/LFR its too much, yet if your gear has none of the above then you get abuse/kicked.

(My main does have gems and all gear is reforged, though I only enchant a few things - all the rest of my alt army dont bother though.)

The Queue: Come to me, Mass Effect 3 {WoW}

Mar 5th 2012 4:45PM Hmm, guess the comment system doesnt like greater-than and less-thank signs very much and ate the rest of my comment!

Anyway the bit after the above was something along the lines of : The essence of Pandaren is not the essence of Po from Kung-Fu Panda

The Queue: Come to me, Mass Effect 3 {WoW}

Mar 5th 2012 4:42PM The thing that most people seem to be overlooking is that Pandaren were around a long time ago with their own culture/vibe/backstory in the Warcraft RTS games.

Then many years later Kung-Fu Panda came along that had this silly jokey vibe to it.

>>> That does not mean Pandaren are going to be Kung-FU Pandas, they are going to be the Pandaren they have always been!

1 million people signed up for the WoW Annual Pass {WoW}

Feb 10th 2012 12:25PM I got the Annual Pass, mostly because I'd still be playing anyway so why not, and was planning on getting Diablo 3 anyway so I basically get it for free for doing nothing.

Even though I'll have access to the beta I wont be logging in at all - would rather see the finished polished game than have it spoilt by bugs and class/spec changes that just confuse the final product.

But maybe thats just me :)
