Mar 27th 2012 10:55AM The new RFC contains elements of plot/lore relevant to the expansion; I think that's why it is being opened up to both sides, and it is not just for the sake of equality
Mar 19th 2012 6:53AM I think they said they didn't want to do one, but instead focus on more organic world PVP (by putting vendors etc in non-sanctuary locations)
Mar 15th 2012 7:01AM Aren't warriors losing ranged weapons?
Mar 13th 2012 11:08AM I levelled a lock in the month before cata's release - it was probably one of the fastest levelling experiences I've had (aside from tankadin)
Levelled as destro and 2 shotted everything pretty much. Ended up not playing much at 85, preferred my mage more for ranged, but I'd be willing to try again at some point.
Mar 9th 2012 7:08AM Yeah, the first time I played, I rolled a nelf hunter, and wondered aimlessly around Teldarassil on my own. When I finally spoke to someone he offered me some advice and ran off, which was cool. I still remember the rush of adrenaline when I saw my first horde, running across the path just inside ashenvale.
Then as I wondered through Darnassus, some nice guy invited me to his guild, where i stayed for 2 years - good times.
Mar 8th 2012 4:34PM THANK YOU - this made me run Setthek for the first time in months - got pulled into an HC as i was fighting Anzu, so had to re-run through the whole dungeon and fight her again - finally got the reins!
Feb 16th 2012 7:58AM My biggest beef with Inquisition is that it is STILL bugged.
Unlike other buffs (slice and dice, rupture or recuperate) it lets you refresh it and REDUCE the duration, instead of being told that a more powerful effect is already in place.
Feb 8th 2012 11:47AM I've had a few guilds - my first i ended up in at random after the GM took pity on my noobish self and invited me - made a couple of friends that I still keep on realID. The guild kinda died after a few key people left, and I moved onto a friendly casual guild where I eventually became an officer. But, the core of the guild was quite cliquey and I never really felt at home, so I actually quit wow for a while.
Then I started speaking to someone online at random and things turned to wow; they mentioned having a guild, and encouraged me to join. I've been with them a year now - great bunch of people, with quite a few living nearby as well which is nice. It's very quiet at the moment with the end of patch lull and the draw of ToR/Steam sale bargains etc, but we still chat on Skype at the weekends.
Feb 2nd 2012 7:33AM This is why engineering is so handy for rogues - jeeves will sell poisons and lets you access your own bank as well.
Jan 16th 2012 7:31AM "This isn't Project Runway, this is Project Stabway" - made my day!
