Feb 3rd 2012 4:27AM I would love to see a score given by players for other players like reddits up and down voting. Or an addon that you could do this with. Or a website. Or both.
It's much more pleasant to play and wipe with a bunch of nice people having fun then grind the crap out of a dungeon with people who just curse and moan about you.

What it really comes down to is that these elitist players are bullies. Bullies need to be dealt with; a six year old can tell you that. We need to be vigilant in getting the word out there about exactly who the bullies are in each realm, and also who the truly descent players are.
We can spread the word about who is and isn't doing the right thing in a number of ways:
Number 1 would be word of mouth. If someone has been truly nasty in a dungeon or raid, then let people know about it. If someone has given you really good advice, let people know about it.
We can do what we are supposed to do and report people to GMs who are bullying players. They might not jump in straight away, but if they keep receiving reports of the same person being a jerk and bullying other players they might just start to wake up to the fact that these people are ruining the game.
I am disgusted at the way people treat others in this game. It is just uncalled for; the best thing you can do is give someone advice about how to improve, not to tell them to go away. When my wife and i first started doing dungeons, we were terrible, I'm not going to lie, but when we encountered these low lifes, we were pretty much done with WOW. It was only our good friends that we hung around. When we hit 85 and started to do new content, the same thing happened.
Without new people coming to the game, the game dies. These nubs don't have gear. They don't know the mechanics. They don't know the social etiquette or the jargon. Cut them some slack.
Let's clean up WoW. Report bullying.
