Patch 3.3 PTR: Epic ammo {WoW}

Nov 23rd 2009 5:09PM The engineering requirements are abhorent. There's no way they'll keep that beyond PTR.

15 Minutes of Fame: Quadriplegic player attacks progression raiding {WoW}

Oct 27th 2009 11:02PM Very impressive indeed.

But Ver7ig0, as a multi-boxer, I've found it's possible to play any class very well (not perfect) in PVE with about 3 good /castsequence macros.

And don't knock the hunter mechanics. It's extremely difficult to work a shot rotation perfectly to not clip your autoshot dps. Most hunters can't/don't do this.

Gearing up for PvP: Gaming surfaces and keyboards {WoW}

Jul 22nd 2009 8:09PM I ditched the original n52 for the classic G15 with 18 macro buttons. The original n52 thumb directionals didn't wear well over time. Throw a g5 mouse on top and I'm rocking like nobody's business.

Ask WoW Insider: What's your kill order? {WoW}

Oct 12th 2007 8:12PM Our raid kill order is
X=MT
Skull=OT
Blue=Frost trap
Star=shackle
Moon=sheep

The raid leader or assistant will remark the targets as X during the fight to indicate the next kill. Only after MT has aggro.

This is for Twilight on Alexstraza.

WoW Moviewatch: "Level Up" {WoW}

Feb 6th 2007 9:26PM 100% this game is absolutely addictive. I've battled video game addiction long before I ever started WoW but it brought out the worst in my problem. I'm not a naive kid who thinks that just because I played a lot, I was an addict. I did make some very poor decisions and it was my fault that I took my game play to an unhealthy level. I went through a very real and legit withdrawal when I finally stopped. As you can see by me posting, I'm not over it yet but I'm on my way.

I really like this video for its attempt to raise awareness and address the situation but it lacks credibility. I really hope you're right in saying that in most cases the use of "addiction" is a hyperbole but I'm afraid that more and more people are becoming too immersed in Wow.

Xbox 360's first 100,000-point gamerscore {Joystiq}

Nov 28th 2006 7:47PM Probably not too tought to do. Think of how many hours people put into MMORPG's. If those people in WoW chose to play the 360 instead, they'd probably have hit it sooner :)
