Apr 4th 2012 10:31AM Mojo! I get my Mojo out whenever I can, and if I'm on an alt that hasn't yet found its Mojo I will mess with your Mojo!
If I ask you to "kiss my frog" I'm only trying to show you the light and help you get your Mojo, I promise not to give you warts.
Apr 3rd 2012 10:46AM I've levelled from 1-85 questing from zone to zone killing PVE mobs and running dungeons along the way. With hindsight it appears the game gave me an apprenticeship to learn my class gearing me up as I progressed in preparation for the end game, raiding!
My guild has cleared Dragonsoul so I consider myself to have graduated, perhaps not with honours but graduated none the less.
Ok so what now, how about we try some pvp. It's now I realise I may have skipped some of my education and perhaps I should have included some regular battlegrounds as part of my levelling journey. I have no pvp gear, no pvp spec and a high dps rotation just isn’t going to cut it in PVP.
The thought of going back to school to relearn my class and how to play in PVP is daunting. I can grind honour/conquest points, or convert Justice/Valour, and gear up to a reasonable standard easily enough, and can copy a spec from somewhere.
But how do I re-educate my play style from PVE to PVP.
Only one answer I can come up with and I find the prospect of it intimidating. I'm going to have to go through a world of pain in that I am going to die a lot, suffer numerous insults and abusive behaviour, let my team down by my under par performance and be embarrassed by my inability to perform at the level I am used to in PVE.
Or is there another way?
Are there any PVP training dummies, other than the DK who yells he'll duel anyone outside Org for gold? Or could we have different levels of BG Heroic, Normal and LFBG?
Are there any strategies for winning a Battleground, or is it constantly fluid requiring experience and/or a good raid leader (or the BG equivalent)? I have to admit I'm totally confused by wsg as it appears that both teams can have a flag but neither appears to want to "score" with it?
Is there a website of strategies for one class v another, but then what do you do when you meet yourself?
I'm considering starting a new character and either levelling exclusively through PVP or a more balanced mix of PVP/PVE, in truth wishing I'd done that in the first place. Perhaps Blizzard should include that in their tip of the day, "Do PVP from day 1 or you'll regret it."
Or maybe I should create a “twink”, I’m told this where I use my L85’s gold and PVE experience to allow me to create a lower level character which will essentially outgear a battleground thus substituting gear for skill but allowing me to feel good about myself by killing unsuspecting normally geared players.
TL:DR How do you learn to PVP @ L85?
Mar 20th 2012 12:07PM Just give me another box to tick.
Queing as Tank/Healer/Dps
Loot roll as Tank/Healer/Dps
That way I can run with my main spec and roll for my off spec.
