May 26th 2008 6:53PM Its pretty obvious from his death animation (which has been floating around for a while now) that he just gets pushed back to where he came from. He's not dead, just defeated. Now its time to focus on Arthas while the Legion plans their next attack.

We pretty much skipped over Vashj/Kael in favor of gearing up a bit more. We took Vashj to Phase 3 prior to 2.4 and never took any swipes at Kael. We plan to pick up with Vashj again this week and start in on Kael attempts shortly there after. But, I appreciate your concern. Hopefully, then we'll be okay in your eyes. Because I need your validation in order for me to feel like I have accomplished anything in a pretend world.
May 26th 2008 11:06AM Casual guilds exsist. I have been in a casual guild that has been going strong since the beginning of TBC. We have cleared Kara, ZA, Gruul, Mag, 5/6 SSC, 3/4 TK, 4/5 Hyjal and 4/9 BT. http://whj-guild.org
May 11th 2008 6:54PM Hmmm... I need something like this... but, not this. I only buy pet food from the vendor. My food/water comes from a mage table. What I would like is something to tell me when I'm low on Fel mana pots, flasks of relentless assualt, mad alchemist pots, Elixir of Major Agility, Mageblood Elixir, etc and how many of each reagent I need to buy. Anyone know of anything like that?
May 9th 2008 4:49PM This is a concern I just shared with a fellow guildie on our guild forums. Seems to be a common one. I'm sure Blizzard is aware of this concern as well. Considering they haven't designed a single raid boss yet, I'm going to try and not think about it until the launch date to WotLK gets closer. Hopefully we have enough time between now and the launch of WotLK to kill Illidan, that's going to be the goal. :)
Apr 7th 2008 2:38PM Being a part of a casual raiding guild for over a year now, as both a member and officer I can tell you the two biggest factors of our success are: 1) Patient and Persistent officers and 2) Having a strong core for people who like playing with each other no matter what you're doing.
We suffered many set backs as a casual guild but we kept on fighting through our issues and we are 5/6 SSC, 3/4 TK and will probably be starting Hyjal/BT next week. Not bad for a guild who raids 2 nights a week. While we were working Karazhan membership dropped off while trying to get Karazhan down. We fell back to running 5 mans, recruited and went back in and dominated the rest of Karazhan. We met up with another guild to co-raid Gruul's with and eventually merged with them. We took down Gruul together but all their members disappeared once we started to attempt Mag and school started. We fell back to Karazhan and ZA. We found another guild to co-raid with but that quickly broke up as they were absorbed by another guild. We ran ZA for a few more weeks. Yet again we found another guild with similar problems as us (solid core of well geared players, poor attendance for the rest of the guild). We joined up with them and started learning SSC and TK together. At the same point in time both guilds were ready to try 25mans on our own and we parted ways. Both guilds are now thriving.
The hardest part to the high-end raid game is getting a solid group of 25 players together at the same time. Outside of Vashj and Kael the bosses in SSC and TK are not really that hard and neither are the first 3 bosses in Hyjal and BT. Its content definitely asseciable to casuals.
Apr 4th 2008 9:17PM Just did him last night. Was actually easier WITHOUT DBM. You just have to do a crazy thing called PAY ATTENTION. We easily one shot him without any major issues. I like him the way he is currently. Still a little too easy for a boss that drops T5 shoulders.
Mar 28th 2008 8:18AM I did Hydross, Lurker, Tidewalker, Fathom-Lord and Al'ar last night without running into any mana problems. I ran as I always do with AotH and drinking Fel Mana Potions when needed. I actually had less mana problems then normal. But, I had 376 Int when buffed with AI and Kings. I even broke 1500 DPS for the first time on Tidewalker. So that was fun. ;)
Mar 21st 2008 8:38AM Are you kidding me? 5Kg on my server would cost about $200. I didn't really have any problems getting money for my epic flying mount through conventional means. Sure, I didn't do it overnight. But, I did the most of the grind BEFORE daily quests were introduced in the game. You just have to make it a priority and save your money. At that time I played for about an hour Monday through Friday during my lunch breaks and then twice a week I would raid.
You'd be surprised how much easier something is when you set a goal and focus on it.
Mar 18th 2008 9:48AM Do you bloggers bother to research ANYTHING? Geez a simple search on WoWWiki would reveal that Pandaren Express was a paradoy of EQII's /pizza comand that was largely ridiculed in the WoW community because all it did was launch the users default web browser to PizzaHut.com. WoW developers insist they would have handled it better.
