Blizzard committed to keeping a sense of community {WoW}

Mar 13th 2012 4:23PM For our guild LFR has brought us together. Before we had to scramble for fill in 1 or 2 people who didn't show up for raid. Either we had to pug it or cancel it. I admit the challenge is LFR is not the same as 10man raid in Cata, but we're still able to enjoy it. LFR became more of a chat time, just shooting Sh**t while pew pewing.

We are looking forward to more development with LFR. And if people wan to do Raid 10man--they are more then welcome. There are no one solution to make everyone happy. Technology and tools are different from 6--or even 2 years--ago. You have to pick and choose what is best for your guild.

On the side now...
Our guild integrated Facebook with our guild content (along with our website) and that brought our community tighter as well.

Drama Mamas: Choosing between preferred class and raid leader {WoW}

Feb 20th 2012 1:48PM Dear Shafted
Long long time ago, my main was a mage. Not any mage, but a frost mage that dances around with the mobs until the music stopped. However every raid night my Shaman was in need for healing. I would reluctant to go but my felt the team was more important than my individual needs. Later on I would be in the core raid with my shaman and alt raid with my mage--two raids one week. You can imagine the wear and tear it had on me. Later on had to decide one over the other--I went my Shaman. Because at least I can dps and heal if needed. This was back in Kara.

Pour in the love and the awesome energy you felt into your team. Later your "rag team" can be "RAD TEAM". The world is how you see it. See the good in them and your Paladin. I agree with Lisa and Robin. Go!! Forget the past, build a future.

Cheers,
Var

Breakfast Topic: What makes players pick their class? {WoW}

Feb 20th 2012 1:34PM I play Shaman.
I enjoy the supporting the team, to achieve something as a group and going beyond the individual. Sometimes when I'm DPSing and see the healer is running low I'll chain heal or dropping healing rain. My DPS my suffer but my team is more important. At the end of the day you remember making in alive rather than who was the top DPS.

Var

Officers' Quarters: Should Blizzard hold a guild summit? {WoW}

Feb 20th 2012 12:15PM Guild summit. What an awesome idea! To share ideas, collaborate, and exchanging...isn't that how most great idea comes from? I used to be a raider since vanilla up to early part of Cata. However as the season passed, I tend to enjoy the game more casually now and our guild stopped raiding--we now use LFR. It's not the same cup of tea, but it's still tea. Thanks for the post! www.GUILDETA.com
