Feb 24th 2012 1:47PM Yup only for 1 spec.
As I said above; Blizzard made LFR so that people who may not otherwise get a chance to raid will have a chance to see some end game content NOT to boost up people offspecs.
You can roll on a token and use it for your main spec and experience the content as intended.
DW classes; prioritise people who don't have a copy of the item before giving someone their 2nd.
In your example; let the paladin go to DS10/25 in his ret gear then with the guild and collect off spec bits the main healers don't need. Anyways if he is in a raiding guild and has a set of gear all 384+ then LFR isn't (technically) intended to be a quick gear boost because he feels like changing his mind.
Through just using the dungeons, BH and VP gear (perhaps also crafted bits depending how much he feels like paying out or if the gbank has extra bits) he would easily be geared up to heal in DS10 without needing to take LFR gear.
Feb 24th 2012 8:27AM If you have the item equipped or in your bag... don't let them roll need on it. If you have item equipped or in your bag which was gained from the token that just dropped (or from a DS norm/heroic token of the same slot) don't let them roll.
Simple reason: Blizzard created LFR so more people could experience raiding; not so that people who already run DS normal/heroic several times a week could go and farm offspec gear. Anyways... these people will more than likely be able to roll on better offspec gear within a reset or 2 when fellow raid members start passing on gear in their main raids; for some people in LFR it may be their only chance to get hold of upgrades to get into a normal run!
