Apr 3rd 2012 4:47PM Honestly. No one said you have to talk to neckbeards. If they catcall and are rude and are making you uncomfortable, either report or ignore or both. Drawing attention to the issue makes you out to be a drama queen. Most people I talk to in WoW are really nice to female players. Are you pugging or associating with the immature players on purpose? Join a nice guild and avoid pugs.
When Vent and such is required for a raid when you join, just go in and don't say anything just type if you think the people are going to get erections talking to you and try and e-hump you.

Mar 17th 2012 4:18PM UNLESS I joined a guild and these kind of terms were ironed out when I joined. Like, "We require you to wear green colored gear". Etc.
Mar 17th 2012 4:16PM Probably the stupidest thing to dispute over is this. If a raid doesn't like how I am mogged then I will go raid somewhere else. If they want to NERD the hell out and make a stupid rule that says, "You need to come in un modified gear", well I will go raid elsewhere.
That's too controlling in my opinion. As long as my DPS (in my case) is where it needs to be, I am on Teamspeak like requested, and I perform, then who gives a care? If the raid leader is crying then he/she is obviously too immature for me to raid with them.
I grew up playing the likes of the Final Fantasy series, and other role playing games. Scantily clad costumes are the norm for me, and they are readily available in this game no less.
You can tell me how you want me to play, where to stack, what to do, how to communicate.. but when you tell me how to dress or how to arrange my bags, well then I am out.
