Mar 27th 2012 2:36PM I've only ever been interested enough in Archaelogy from a completionist's standpoint. I'll do it just max my skill out in the profession. Although some of the items I've gotten through it were indeed pretty cool, when I have actually tried to farm for certain items, I found I've gotten bored very quickly, and the payout seems minimal. I'd love for Blizzard to add something more compelling to Arch, but given that its a Secondary Profession, that would likely just be a waste of resources.
Mar 27th 2012 2:25PM I only have one question regarding the new personal loot system in the Raid Finder. From what I can understand, although the post doesn't seem to say it outright, any amount of people could achieve epic loot from one boss. Whether just 1 person is lucky enough to get a piece of spec-specific loot, or 25 people. Am I right in this? It seems to make sense, unless a max cap of "winners" is set for each boss kill, but that would imply my winning an item would indirectly affect someone else's chance of winning an item, where it sounds the system is in place so that anyone who rolls, say, higher than 75 will get a piece of loot, basically.
Other than that, I think this system will be great. I haven't run the Raid Finder enough to really have any terrible dramatic experiences, but I could see how this would help deter any teen angst that could occur as a result of everyone wanting a piece of gear.
I can see a lot of people being upset about the new potential use of Valor points though...

This MUST happen.
