Apr 7th 2007 11:44PM I don't believe Blizzard will ever place XP loss into WOW for the following reason:
The main ingredient that has made WOW so successful is that Blizzard has used their past products (Diablo, Starcraft an Warcraft) to learn how to "do it better", (graphics design, networking, MMPG management, and game play dynamics).
In Diablo II players lost both XP AND Gold when killed at higher levels and because of this I and many others found the path to leveling - very difficult and discouraging ... and Diablo had nothing like the massive "multi-wipe" instances that we find in WOW.
In desiging WOW Blizzard had to decide whether to create a world with challenging "mazes" where you could wipe and not contend with losing experience ... or ... a world in which simply leveling was the primary goal (vsa vis Diablo) which then could accommodate loss of experience at higher levels.
I believe beta testing quickly showed that in order to create a game that kept players involved and interested much longer they had to opt for the former - a world where dying was not as heavily penalized and where the main focus was on team play in instances with the reward being drops of "special" equipment for successful accomplishment of a difficult task.

Nov 30th 2006 11:12PM I have had the N52 for almost a year and I really like it - find it indispensible for both my Lvl 60 Level 60 Lock and 51 Hunter. The great part of this device is it has a rotatation that allows you to cycle through 4 completely independent "layers" (I use the Blue layer for my Lock and the Red for my hunter).
That said - the software supplied with the device apparently was never completed or has errors. For instance, the copy and paste functions don't work. The tech rep at Belkin was not able to provide any help and was stumped with no explaination about why these functions didn't work.
Still I Love my N52 and would be totally lost without it ... highly recommended
