Nov 6th 2008 9:45PM I'm from Canada and we already have polar bear mounts but having one in game would be nice too!
May 26th 2008 3:35PM "Casual Raiding Guild" is difficult to define as it can mean many things. Does it mean your schedule is casual? Are raids even scheduled? Are there attendance requirements? Gear requirements? It could mean anything.
Vex (http://www.wowvex.net) on Thunderlord is what you might call a casual raiding guild. Not quite though.
A more accurate description would be that we are a raiding guild with no raid attendance requirements. You aren't punished if you don't raid but we still require our members to be good raiders. Due to our lack of attendance requirements it means we have to have a larger raiding base than other guilds out there and our progress isn't as fast as the top guilds.
We just killed Vashj last week as we wanted to become better raiders and finish what we started. The confidence boost from beating the hardest boss in the game is pretty good too. We are 6/6 SSC, 3/4 TK, 1 BT, 1 Hyjal.
One side effect of our guild structure is that we have alot of older (ie mature) players that have lives outside of the game. It makes for a solid and well organized guild.
Feb 29th 2008 5:20PM Ummm, this isn't a case of being hacked and it probably wasn't a case of one of your Officers cleaning out the bank. It's a bug in Blizzards guild bank system that has been around for quite some time. I think it's even been reported on wow insider before too.
The same thing that happened to you, happened to us recently. null user that was Guild Master but there hasn't been a Guild Master transfer fo power for over 8 months and the old Guild Master isnt't even in our guild anymore.
What happens is that you invite an 'alt' to the guild who was Guild Master in their own little guild. When they are invited they retain the Guild Master permissions from their previous guild even though they are labeled as a member in your guild. This allows them to take anything and everything they want. Then they change their name or transfer off the server with all your loot.
Blizzard knows of this bug and they should restore all your items. They did it for us without even blinking an eye.
Apr 4th 2007 10:10AM I own a Nostromo but I have found two things wrong with it. 1) It doesn't fit my hand properly and is uncomfortable and 2) when I want to text to someone I have to move my hand back to the keyboard anyway...
As for setup, I use the mouse/keyboard combo. Mouse for turning, autorun and vent.
My keyboard is:
WAFX to move.
ZCVB for spells/commands/etc
I stay away from SHIFT/CTRL/etc as those move my fingers away from the center line of the keyboard.
Mar 22nd 2007 12:19PM That is fricken hilarious!
I'm glad to see people having fun like that in the game.
Mar 21st 2007 7:45PM Nice gear setup - love my DS too.
What do you think of the MX Revolution mouse? I've been looking to get a new mouse but I haven't fully decided yet.
