Ask WoW Insider: Best ways to make money in Burning Crusade? {WoW}

Jan 20th 2007 10:46AM I don't really worry much about the gold, its rolling in fine, and when I hit 70 if i don't have enough to get the epic flying mount...refer to #24's comment.

Blizzard developer says WoW unlikely for consoles {WoW}

Jan 16th 2007 4:03PM At #7, you make a good point about Starcraft not being ready to become a MMO. The idea pops in my head that bliz should come out with a starcraft 2, and possibly 3 over the next 2 years. The games would sell like hotcakes, and they could lay some strong groundwork or "lore" and backstory, possibly ending with all 3 factions hostile towards each other. Then when everyone has had their fill of WoW, they will be postioned to release "Universe of Starcraft" to grab everyone back up.

The next challange I see is the race/class challange(maybe its because i didn't get any sleep last night playing in Outland, and im at work on 2hrs sleep). The Terran seem to have only 1 race and many classes, protoss may have more than 1 race but I can't remember any atm(sry its been a couple years since I played starcraft). And the zerg have many races, but a very narrow class structure.

Breakfast Topic: Who's the fairest of the elves? {WoW}

Jan 10th 2007 12:55PM There needs to be a strip club in one of the neutral goblin cities of outland. That way us male dwarves can have a few strong brews and see which female looks the best when they are naked and my dwarf is drunk.

The Burning Crusade: What to do at 70? {WoW}

Jan 2nd 2007 5:57PM My question is, will you get better drops if you complete MC, BWL, Onyxia, AQ40, Naxx, with the instance difficulty set to Heroic?

If anyone knows, please share the info.

PvP: Tales of an AV AFK'er {WoW}

Jan 2nd 2007 3:57PM I love the dead horse comment. Might as well beat that dead horse some more.

@35 concerning the philosiphy of "I pay $15 a month, so i'm gonna do what I want."

This is your first point--lets say everyone logged on and went AFK all day... then logged out. Would you want to continue playing a game that might as well be a single player game?-- This would never happen, so this statement means nothing.

This is your second point--The principle that governs US legal rights is very simple: "I have the right to extend my fist only so far as my fellow man's nose."--My NightElf/Orc Warrior will stick his GM/HW Polearm where the sun doesn't shine, and I am completely abiding by the game rules of wow. As far as U. S. legalities, come on my property and I will extend my fist through your nose.

Your third point--Your $15 gives you the right to play this game however you like so long as it doesn't negatively effect someone else's gameplay (CF. the harassment policy)--I can't be banned unless It can be proven that I'm not at my computer, and since I know how to play my cards, thats not going to happen. I paid my $15, and if I chose to gaurd the cave while I also cook dinner, wash dishes, take out the trash(and other adult home owning duties), so be it. I am playing a COMPUTER game. I pay to play it, and I can do what I do, and there is nothing that can force me to play my hardest every AV that I enter.

Once I finishing getting all of the gear I want, I will only play when I'm planning on having fun and going for the win. Until then, afk for the win baby!

Adventures in Beta: How fast will you replace your gear? {WoW}

Jan 2nd 2007 11:58AM The Priest Level 70 Tier 4 nuker set has less stamina, less intellect, and less damage/healing than the level 60 pvp set. Now the Tier 4 nuker set does have alot of spirit, which the pvp set doesn't have, but come on, simple thinking lets me know that I'm going to be wearing almost all of the pvp set all the way to level 70. So, this means for priests, the best leveling gear to get is going to be the pvp set which u can get now. On weapons, there are mid/high 60 staves and blades that are better than the Grand marshal/high warlord weapons/off-hand as far as damage/healing are concerned, but you better believe I already have the GM/HW weapons and will be ready to blow the doors off on grinding with them Jan. 16th.

Guilds need to be encouraging thier priests to get the pvp gear, and if they expect thier priests to level to 70 specced for holy wearing ANY of the Tier sets, they need to be prepared to wait a long time for them to get to 70.

@1 - Orin
You can save your honor points for the level 70 pvp gear, but you cannot save anymore than 90,000. If you reach 90k you will not recieve any more honor until u dump some of it on something.

Dec 27th 2006 6:15PM The best offense is a good defense, and lets face it, Dwarves are much better defenders than Orcs when it comes to war.

Stone Bunkers > wood towers

Besides, we all know that the layout of AB is in favor of the Horde(Farm + LM + BS, swing team for the win), but you don't see any alliance whinning about it like the horde whine about AV.

Horde don't need Aid Station anyway. The only graveyard Horde need to win is SP gy.
