Enter to win a Spectral Tiger Mount from WoW Insider! {WoW}

Jul 26th 2007 4:02AM Woohoo - EU too! I'd kill for one of these mounts... fingers crossed!

BigRedKitty: The Jump Shot {WoW}

Jun 28th 2007 4:27AM "For that little comment, I'm going to roll Horde on your server, sheep you, and force you to watch as I kill your pet Hobbes before your eyes. I'm even going to learn Skinning so I can harvest the pelt and turn it into a riding crop or a lampshade."

Chilblain - I love you for this! Please for the love of god don't tar the rest of us real hunters with the BRK-brush - trust me, most of us with half a clue about spec and dps are mortally embarrassed by this pariah.

Shifting Perspectives: How to group with a druid part two {WoW}

Jun 27th 2007 4:14AM A MAGE that can group heal. Please - which mages have you been grouped with? The ones who just wand?

BigRedKitty: Five of the top ten things every class should know about hunters {WoW}

May 16th 2007 12:35PM Nope - I'm a hunter - no hunter hate here, just tired of the pretentious bollocks coming from BRK each week.

And number 5 - I'll bet his hunter's not doing a total of 650 dps - his spec will gimp that.

And for myself, personally in a basic 5 man with might, TSA, AoH, I'll be hitting roughly:

Auto shot 500-700
Crit auto shot 1.2k-1.7k
Multi ~ 1k Crit ~ 2.9 k
Steady shot ~ 600, Crit ~ 2K
Arcane shot ~700 hit ~2k crit
Aimed shot 1200 hit 4k crit

May 16th 2007 12:15PM Damnit, I was laughing too much to comment on the specific:

"Hunters have an ability called Feign Death that allows us to set our threat to zero against all mobs that have us on their threat list."

Umm... how long since you played your hunter? Feign Death is not 100% effective anymore, hasn't been for some time - so whilst this used to be an effective strategy for risky pulls, it certainly isn't valid to say "The Perfect Zone of Absolute Safety" any longer.

Maybe you should retitle it "The Perfect Zone of Reasonably Low Risk, but With Potentially Disastrous Consequences"

May 16th 2007 12:11PM Sorry - I was going to post something with insight, but I'm still chortling over the dps viability of a BM hunter in an instance.

Sure - you can pet tank, but don't talk about your dps like it's worthwhile - and as for priests healing your 150 dps pet - whoopee - a whole 150 dps - when that mana could be better spent healing a 4-500 dps damage class. The only time a pet should expect heals is if it's offtanking.

As for your 'OK you pull with a 3K aimedshot'. Yep - those are REALLY predicable hmm? (Oh - and try a dps build, 3K aimed is nothing exceptional)

BigRedKitty: Bad hunters are born, not made {WoW}

May 10th 2007 3:38AM PS - the royal 'we' is utterly pretentious.

BigRedKitty: Bad hunters are born, not made {WoW}

May 10th 2007 3:36AM Bah - same crap different day - and seriously, where do you get off claiming all MM hunters use fast weapons?

Fast weapons are awful for hunters - always have been. You want to maximise your crit bonus from your talents - slow weapons - to utilise multishot crit bonus etc. The only hunters with fast weapons are the ones who have no clue - much like the author. As for a MM hunter with good gear being low on the damage meters doesn't know how to play - skill > gear these days. I'd like to see you try a steady shot rotation with a 2 sec gun...

BigRedKitty's List of Talent No-No's {WoW}

May 3rd 2007 7:19AM Yeah - a fast bow is a MM hunters best friend.

/sarcasm off.

Nicely written, woeful lack of knowledge.

Anytime Little Pink Kitty wants to match dps with a real hunter, I'd love to read the comparative article.

Blizzard threatens players who plan "Gnome March" for Warriors {WoW}

Dec 5th 2006 11:53AM Actually, I would agree with this...

Protesting about class changes is something to do on the forums - not in the world of Azeroth. It would open the floodgates to all sorts of things, including pickets and obstruction, and could also cause uproar in the chat channels.

It would get ugly - almost certainly... mob mentality is bad enough on the forums, keep it out of my world.
