Oct 13th 2009 1:13PM I don't find it nauseating, I just find it annoying and it slows down my computer.
Oct 13th 2009 8:21AM I just can't wait for a friends list across realms!! Now I don't have to log in on alts across realms trying to see everyone who's online.
Oct 12th 2009 12:36PM Uh, they already had a post about the actual episode where you can go discuss.
They also had a post about JEJ as the dictator.
In a blog-type format you have to keep things fresh too - you can't expect people to always click back five pages to talk about a show from last week.
Discussion =/= worrymongering
Oct 12th 2009 10:34AM It sounds like you didn't see the previews for next week's episode - it's clearly continuing in the next episode. Won't be not mentioned again.
Oct 12th 2009 8:08AM T-Mobile? Stellar customer service? HAHAHAHA! That's always been one of the worst things I've found about them. I used to call in when I'd have data problems and get the exact same lines - yes, we see a problem, yes we have a technician on it, yes we can text you when it's fixed, which never happened. Somehow I have the feeling that's what they said no matter what.
Oct 9th 2009 10:38AM Is "skint" really a word? Isn't it scant?
Oct 9th 2009 9:50AM See, I disagree...I love Garrosh. I want him as leader of the Horde.
I wish they'd do something cool like let us choose the leader of the Horde - Thrall or Garrosh - a max level (80, 85, etc.) quest where you can vote for one or the other only once.
I guess that sounds a little more...Alliance...but I wish we could have some kind of say, being members of the Horde too. And maybe with some sort of benefit for one or the other - Thrall promises a faction-wide buff...Garrosh promises, uh...I don't know. 50% off all vendors in Org? No, that's lame. I just think it would be cool.
Oct 8th 2009 4:03PM Sarcasm, billg, I know the internet is new for you but try to keep up
Oct 8th 2009 2:06PM I agree that it always seemed useless with that tight timing. The person could barely read the question, and their friend always seemed to be TOTALLY unprepared - they never sounded like they were listening the first time the contestant read the question or writing things down, so they'd ask for them to repeat it and it's like...you don't have time to repeat the question. The friends always sounded like dumb idiots, which is hard not to, when you get a surprise call and have to answer a question via phone in 30 seconds.
I always pictured those friends sitting in front of Google, if they were smart. Maybe instead of a tight :30 timeline, they could, I don't know, send someone from the show to make sure they're not looking up the answer and give them a minute. I always that that :30 was so they couldn't look up the answer, but it's not even enough time to think. It's a very cool concept that needs tweaking, but not getting rid of all together.
Oct 8th 2009 8:40AM Seems like everyone has a comment but not too many names "Oh there was this one guy who ninja'd..."
I wouldn't expect anyone to really be "realm-famous" unless I see a bunch of people separately mention the same name. Just b/c someone is famous in your little world doesn't mean they're famous on the realm.
Plus I doubt "everyone" on a realm knows so-and-so, as it's been mentioned earlier.
