They just announced it will happen tonite, so you're only 1 day off.
Jan 17th 2012 2:16PM Many sites like this use automated posting, so Larry probably had this written well beforehand and they scheduled it to post today, prior to the delay being announced.
So basically they got punk'd by Bioware.
Jan 10th 2012 10:20AM How is this MMO news?

The entire point of the post that this article is referring to is to clarify the client install situation.
Maybe you should just click on the link and read it for yourself rather than wait for Justin to answer your question.

You can D/L the installer but you can't D/L the game as the login server is offline.
Dec 5th 2011 5:54PM @wilus84
No, the login server is offline.
All it means is if you installed the testing client any time after Nov 25th you should be fine to just patch your install for launch.
This is in response to the email many people got telling them to uninstall prior to launch.
If you already uninstalled the game you're out of luck until headstart/launch day gets here.

Funny. You hadn't posted this comment when I read the piece so the fact that both of us noted bias in it says something, I think.
Oct 1st 2011 1:34PM I'm not someone that feels Bioware can do no wrong, and I'm not entirely pleased with some of the design choices they've made for SWTOR, but you come across as very biased from the outset of this section.
What you're really criticizing in much of the piece is the failure of the game to live up to your preconceptions and gameplay preferences.
It's fine if you don't like the game, but to use the gap between where the game is now in beta and what your expectations were for it going into the demo as grounds for concern regarding the launch is pretty foolish.

So far everything Bioware has done shows they've learned a lot from Blizzard. The game has been in closed beta for several months at least and this date gives them nearly 3 mos. more.
I'll be really surprised if the date slips.

I believe that comment is what's known as Sarcasm.
