Apr 4th 2012 9:16PM Sorry to say but I think this game would of worked better with the Move as you would have feedback as the Move vibrates and it would feel like holding a lightsaber in your hand.
With the lag and there not being any feedback detracts from the game and why oh why did they have to put dancing in the game? Seems like that is what Kinnect is full of!
I think if the game had been more thought out it could of been a really good game and I think they just wanted a gimmicky game to ship with the Star Wars Xbox.
The videos I have seen my faith in it was disturbed and I'd rather be frozen in carbonite than have to play the dancing part!
Make a good lightsaber game where you can dual a good CPU opponent or your friend and make sure the game doesn't have the lag and problems this one does!
The game Sorcery for the Move that is coming out next month will really show how a system like this should work as you will be able to use the Move as a wand and combine it different abilities like a wind and fire spell to make a flaming tornado.
If the Kinnect allowed you to do combos and different force moves or even lighting or a choke hold it would of been really fun!
Apr 3rd 2012 6:07PM Actually I think the PS3 is going to be the machine to have to watch video of any kind! As #1 it is free you don't have to have a subscription account to use any of the features like Netflix.
#2 Sony has a huge library of movies as they are a studio as well!
and of course as I stated before it's free to access all your video accounts such a Hulu+ or Netflix but you only have to pay for your subscription to Hulu+ and Netflix no PSN subscription required.
Mar 30th 2012 8:33PM I didn't like the graphical Zorks as the game was meant to be a txt game where you used your imagination and had to figure out how to get through the game.
Not like today's games that are graphical diarrhea where it's a color explosion that has to run at 60fps!
I will take the txt based game with the challenge any day.
Mar 30th 2012 10:13AM I find this ironic as everyone says how MS is so strict on their protection, well at least on their end.
MS doesn't care about your xbox and what happens to it once you trade it in or sell it or what not!
I have heard so many stories of people's accounts getting banned for hacking when they traded in a console.
But you guys how love MS to death are allowing this to happen.
You rag on Sony for their hack and their inability to fix it. I'm sure if MS got majorly hacked or your info got stolen you'd kiss their ass and say it was ok!!
Seems like MS can do no wrong even if the machine were to blow up and kill you in your afterlife you'd still kiss and make up!
When will you people wake up and realize that MS doesn't give a rat's ass about you or keeping you safe online it's all about the $$$$.
Try to cancel your live account and it is not as easy to do as they don't want you to cancel it!
Mar 27th 2012 6:15PM Wow you have to spend a monthly fee for Live so you can use all these apps as they should be free to use and not require a monthly service fee.
It would be like my computer manufacturer charging me a monthly fee to get on the net and to play SWTOR or WoW on top of the monthly fee.
Using it as a set top should be free as long as you have a cable provider.
So does that mean if you wanna watch TV with say Comcast or Verizon you have to pay them a fee as well as Live?
Too many fees!!
Mar 24th 2012 12:53PM I love me some baba Ghanouj eggplant dip!
Mar 24th 2012 10:32AM All you WoW haters out there LISTEN this is the start of it!
They say they need balance and what they end up doing is RUINING the mechanics and when you were once able to handle things you end up being completely useless.
I hope they don't screw up like WoW did originally when they nerfed some of the classes.
I know with Pandaria there are still more changes coming.
I like the ability to be able to heal myself as an Sith Sorcerer and heal my companion. Are you going to make the cool down longer or change the amount of healing it does?
Seems that PvP is always the reason for nerfing. Myself I don't care for PvP because people end up getting really nasty or hateful when you lose or tell you that you suck because your heal spell didn't go off in time cause you kept getting interrupted.
Just make the game fun to play and allow my abilities to do what I want them to do.
Mar 24th 2012 10:27AM You see this happening all over the industry.
Studios aren't making it or the big wigs decide to close them and absorb the people in it.
Sometimes it costs too much money to keep a studio open instead of bring them on board to the first party developer.
David Jaffee left Eat Sleep Play and I'm sure that company will eventually fold.
Does this mean the end of SOCOM? Nope it just means Sony will shift focus to another studio.
Look at Halo they are now being done by 343 studios as Bungie has moved on.
I think as this year goes on we'll see this happen more and more as the cost of games is getting outrageous.
I think next we will hear that THQ is shutting down if Dark Siders 2 doesn't perform well as they have been bleeding money badly.
The industry is in flux and they need to be careful that there isn't a crash like there was in the mid 80s as another crash could destroy the gaming world as we know it.
Mar 23rd 2012 8:22AM Seems that it is going to be totally outta whack now!
I just hope you don't have a sith insquistor that can shoot guns or something unfair like that. Give them an ability that has a 30+ min cool down once they use it.
Oh wait will you dance now to heal yourself?
I hope that PvP stays the same and you don't have some chars that get nerfed badly!
I feel a disturbance in SWTOR!!
Mar 22nd 2012 9:18AM I played it at Screenburn at SXSW and the devs were there and more than happy to talk about it and it plays really well and I can't wait for this game to come out as not only does it have a great multiplayer game but it has a full single player story!
