Jan 19th 2009 4:15PM I'm not sure why everyone is still calling them 'hero' classes. I was under the impression that the origjnal idea of 'hero classes' was that they were going to be ways to customize our current classes even more. At the present time, hero classes like the Deathknight are more or less just a new class entirely, I don't understand what's so different between them and say a shaman?
Apr 17th 2007 1:41PM Warriors-Protection needs a buff as any warrior who spec's this way is confined to basically only being usefull in raids.
Mages-Pretty decent right now, some threat modifiers is about all they should need.
Warlocks- Still pretty OP'd but not as bad as before, leave em as is.
Rogues- The changes to the cleaves etc really helped them out, and I would think they are decent now.
Paladins- Mess of a class, Can't tank very well, cant dps, and we took away the one thing they could do well...great job...leave our healers who actually wanted to heal alone.
Priests- Mess of a class, When your MAIN healing class by all intents and purposes is much better suited at DPS then healing, there is a problem. Holy and any healing builds need to be buffed, Shadow needs to be nerfed. The intent of shadow getting buffs and raid viability was to allow 1-2 shadowpriests in raids, not to commit genocide on the healers.
Hunters- Just got buffed, are fine, but I still believe pets need some sort of buff for raids, You rarely ever see them out on raids and it just seems like they should be able to be used for that. Still OP'd in PVP imo.
Shaman-Decent right now, make resto more appealing, earthshield is awesome but with the lack of healers it would be nice to see the odd shaman actually spec outside of enhancement/elemental.
Druids- Severely OP'd. I have a problem with classes like Priests and Paladins having major problems and meanwhile Druids being able to DPS well, Tank great and Heal great. It's really f'ing silly and anyone saying its not is lieing right to your face and they know it damn well.
Apr 11th 2007 2:51PM A very nice post, although Malfurion has Dark Green hair, it is this that differentiates him from his Twin, Illidan, that and of course Illidans extremly rare Amber eyes.
