Tabula Rasa servers down, rabble rabble rabble! [Updated] {Massively}

Dec 7th 2007 8:52PM Just wanted to say that its the login servers are down. If you were in the game before the login server went down, then you can still play on those servers. I'm currently playing on Cassie right now with a couple of clanmates, while the rest of the clan can't do anything.

So it must be the communication between the login server and the game server. Also, those that are currently in the game on Orion and Cassiopeia can switch characters too. As long as they don't go back to the login page.

Warrior hits 70 without going to Outlands {WoW}

Jul 16th 2007 1:29AM Just wanted to say, I just hit 67 not going into Outland, but I did it for a different reason. I've been grinding Wintersaber Trainers Rep. I decided to do that on my alt and whenever I had a chance, I would grind the rep. Earlier today I hit Exalted with the Wintersabers. I also hit 67 and I got my Timbermaw rep to exalted. (I hadn't realized I could level so much in the old world doing this. And remember, you only get half the xp you do in Outland for each mob.)

So I didn't do it to see if I could get to 70 in Azeroth, but it can be done. Now I will probably begin grinding for primals, reps, instancing and the like to 70, then I'll head back to Hellfire and start questing for gold. To this guy, hats off to him.

The Phoenix Mount is indeed in game -- with Ezra! {WoW}

May 30th 2007 4:33PM So fitting that someone whose character's name has phoenix in it, his real name is Phoenix and his spirit (and inspiration) is like a phoenix to have this mount.

Congratulations Ezra!

PTR changes for May 1 {WoW}

May 1st 2007 7:47PM You're correct. It does that, but if, after you respec, you go immediately into a BG and die, you come back with the last pet you summoned. In this case a Felguard. Hence you have both Shadowfury and Felguard.

Full 2.1.0 profession patch notes {WoW}

Apr 12th 2007 7:00PM So that was it for Engineering? I thought they were doing a profession review for Eng.? I guess it's time to finally drop that profession from my Pally. Only reason that I picked it up was for PvP, and since BC, I can't really use it for PvP.

I could be a fake thief and use it for opening chests, but that doesn't appeal to me. I guess it's time for a new profession.

AddOn Spotlight: Totemus {WoW}

Feb 1st 2007 8:15PM I also tried Totemus. I love the look of this mod. It reminded me of Necrosis which I use for Warlock. But I also didn't like the fact that you can't bind the keys. I also didn't like that I couldn't control what foods/waters/potions/etc. would show up. I like to finish using one type of food before going to the next one because each slot in you bag is valuable. I would end up with 4 different kinds of food each giving the same health, each taking up a slot with only 2 pieces of each.

The mod I'm using now is Call of Elements. I'll give Yata a try, but I would like to have a mod that I could keybind totems, and then have drop down menus like Call of Elements so I can have more screen real estate. I just got Call of Elements, so we will see how that works.

We're in your docks, kidnapping your flightmaster {WoW}

Dec 12th 2006 8:29PM Just wanted to add that PAA (Penny Arcade Alliance) guild had their own PvP event on the Dark Iron server the week before the new PvP system was put in place. To make a long story short, several raids were created and the PAA attacked all the Horde cities and killed all but one of the racial leaders. And this was done simultaneously between all three cities. This effectively not only shut down all the Horde cities at once, but ended up briefly crashing the server.

The Horde are still bitter over that one, and for the next few weeks, they kept attacking our cities, but nothing to that same effect. This of course gave our world PvP a shot in the arm, but at the same time, angered a bunch of Alliance players because the Horde were out looking for blood.

I think things like this make the game fun especially because, as some one mentioned, it creates a player created world event, which we rarely see in the game. And of course it makes the whole Horde and Alliance "dispute" fun.
