Mar 28th 2012 9:36AM Only five more levels. Not excited about that at all because as we all know you can get to level 90 in about 20 minutes with all the special bells and whistles. Then, for a casual, it's sit around and wait for the next exp pack to come out. If you even care to wait around for it. Or do dailies to the point of insanity.
The rest of the exp pack is just plain 'meh'. Kung Fu Pandas, fine whatever. Why not? If you're going to go corny you might as well go all out and sell it. Next expansion? 'The Ilse of Beagle Puppies'.
But, like I always say, any expansion is better than no expansion. And I still can eke out some fun once or twice a week, so it works for me.
But, it's no Northrend. I was real excited about Wrath.
Mar 27th 2012 2:55PM lol. Yes I was being sarcastic. I didn't notice but was it really 'downvoted' into oblivion? It's gone now, but that's pretty flippin' funny. For those Very Serious Players here...I was making fun of how everytime something someone doesn't like what Blizz announces, someone will say it's a 'wow-killer'.
Apparently that was lost on the Very Serious Players here. So let me reiterate... Of course having no 'green fire' will not kill WoW. That's absurd.
Kung Fu Pandas will "kill WoW".
Activate Frowny-Faced Downvotes now.
Mar 27th 2012 10:21AM Yes, this is the only thing I really want to know right now.
Mar 27th 2012 10:18AM Downvote opinions that are different than ours! Boo diversity! Viva conformity!
Mar 26th 2012 1:13PM Whether they are a legit part of Warcraft's lore or not the timing of adding them as a playble race is just suspiciously close to the Kung Fu Panda movies. Please, don't be naive to think that didn't have something to do with this at Blizzard HQ. It's business, and there's nothing wrong with it per se.
For me, adding the Kung Fu pandas are 'meh'. I can't see it hurting the game at all.
I managed through the awful space squids and these asian-based Ewoks...er...'Pandarians' are much better looking then the dranaei.
Mar 26th 2012 12:50PM Ah...so you can choose a Red Panda and get a long tail as opposed to a Giant Panda where they have little bunny tails. Ok, that's cool.
Mar 23rd 2012 10:46AM Excellent. I hate felhounds and the way they look. It's not scary or threatening it's just sort of confusing looking.
Mar 22nd 2012 3:29PM If you don't raid or PUG, the lfr thing isn't going to thrill a 'casual'.
If you never played pokeman and/or the pet battles mean 0 in useful rewards, this means nothing.
The glyphs are a nice cosmetic change, fun and interesting. For the first few days. Same with new models. Nice at first, weeks go by and they become part of the everyday environment.
I appreciate the attempt, and a expansion is better than no expansion, but the lure any of this has to the 'casual' is a bit overstated.
And before any trolls climb up from under the bridge...i still love WoW and have no desire to unsub. Even after Kung Fu Pandas start multiplying all over the place.
Mar 22nd 2012 3:16PM I've already leveled 3 alts to 85 where they sit, saddened by my abandonment. There's only so many times I can ride Fiona's Wagon before even she gets sick of seeing my alts.
I'm not against exp packs. I'm just not finding much excitement about it at all.
Mar 22nd 2012 2:56PM So I'm not the only one saying 'meh'. I feel a little better now. :)
