Jul 23rd 2010 1:15PM Really? I don't even finish the first 3 zones before I'm 68 and moving into Northrend. =)

Really nice page activately monitor the epic thread that shows unique user posts and other statistics
Jul 8th 2010 12:11PM Saw this posted on that epic thread:
“Got in touch with my ex-flatmate, whose sister works as a GM for Blizzard, to see what the internal buzz on this was. Apparently, at the moment the employees are largely as pissed as the players, and she stated that despite attempts to keep it hushed, it has become known that the big creative players within Blizzard are pretty much as unhappy about this as we are. Everybody has been told they are not free to comment on this situation outside of specially prepared statements.
It’s still going ahead, however (and here’s where in-house rumours and hearsay really start coming into play): from what they’ve picked up, the Blizzard leads have been told in no uncertain terms that the non-gameplay-related direction of the game is working to a different blueprint now. GC and company are free to play with shiny new talent trees all they like, for example, but for the first time the decisions regarding Battle.net implementation, Real ID, and plans for the general acquisition of new players for the business are no longer in Blizzard’s own hands, and that’s not going down too well.”
Dec 14th 2009 2:00PM Maybe something to do with the game locking up/crashing/DCing in certain parts of Ice Crown raid... Everytime someone jumped off the elevator to screw around it'd cause half a dozen of us to have our games lock up... Some required a full reboot to fix.
Also our zep bugged out and wouldn't fly to the top after winning the event, had to die and teleport up.
Dec 9th 2009 1:05PM @Quijamabub - I am a raiding hunter and gold is not an issue, my alts don't support my main in any shape and every night after a raid I typically come out ahead in gold.
You're welcome to inspect me if you like =)
Dec 9th 2009 12:47PM I think you're being a little hyperbolic with a statement like "The issue is with finding, not only a raiding engineer (a rare enough sight), but a raiding engineer of the right SPEC. I tell you, every engineer I meet is gnomish spec. Every. One."
In our 25man raid group we have roughly 6-7 engineers with us. All 3 of our main hunters are engineers (with both gnome and goblin represented).
Dec 9th 2009 12:39PM Well, with the exception of the ultimate gun in CC25 Heroic chest, the next BiS was typically a xbow in some form, so I'd say probably initially arrows will be a big deal for raiders...
However the alts and casuals will be using the 219 gun most likely from TOTC5 in the beginning.
Dec 9th 2009 12:07PM I just dislike the Gnome vs Goblin aspect of it, otherwise as a raider I got no problems, and truly I have no problems anyhow as we have both types (including me) in the raids...
Only part I dislike is now I need more prep time as opposed to making the ammo on the fly that I need (like if I get a new ranged weapon drop)
Jun 16th 2009 2:02AM I dunno, but the twittering seems very popular in Iran right now ;)
