Nov 29th 2010 4:36PM This was a little under par for the usual Allison brilliance, but with the data being so fresh, I can totally dig how this article came together. I posted this request in the Queue, but I'm going to voice it here, too. Can you please offer a glimmer of hope for the impending stam nerf to bear form? I do get that Blizzard will always tweak, and fine tune, that's fine and it's what they've always done. But we are going to be dealing with people that have seen bears with 70K+ in raids, and the trickle down on this is going to be boots in LFG and PUGs until people start actually waiting to see skill level.
On a related note, I find it deeply hypocritical that Blizzard professes that they want more customization for our characters but now forces our hands even further here with not just our specs, but our professions. I'm one of those that did herbalism and alchemy, because it's what I wanted to do. Now I'll have to do mining and jewelcrafting almost to survive out there. I know it's a friggin Cataclysm, but it would seem to be the opposite of what Blizz claimed (I know it's a "big surprise" there, but darn it, that's my qq.).
Nov 29th 2010 4:27PM I have a question... well request. Can we please have a shifting perspectives/oh crap article to combat or give hope what is surely going to be a mass exodus of bear tanking with the promise of the great stamina nerf? And before I get voted down for this please "bear" in mind:
In raids and LFG, you do actually get people that will boot you if your stamina isn't high enough for a non shield bearer. (Even if you have kingslayer)
And if you doubt that this will have an impact, ask a DK tank or fellow bear about the reaction of people when you first get picked up. (Hint: it's usually a delay as they inspect your gear and/or stats. Trust me, nothing is sexier to a pug/lfg than insane stam for bear, or str in a dk for forceful deflection.
What can we do, now that bears are less "juicy"?

Aug 18th 2010 2:08PM Does anyone know if past achievements count toward guild advancement? I'd hate to think of my toon being a liability rather than an asset because I racked up xp BEFORE this change.
