Mar 13th 2011 5:04PM I'm confused.
I thought that Deathwing used the power of the dragon soul and was nearly torn apart by it (during the War of the Ancients). If that's the case, how was he able to assume non-metal-jawed humanoid form during the *Second* War?
When did Deathwing get so filled with Old God+Titan/Draconic energy that he needed the Twilight cult (team Edward or team Jacob, whichever) to weld adamantium plates to his hide? After *that* point, his humanoid form is pretty recognizable.
And the Cataclysm opening cinematic seems to indicate that after the welding, Deathwing emerged and caused the Big C. So, when did the Second and Third War happen in this timeline?
May 1st 2009 12:25PM I'm confused by the Glyph of Innervate:
"Glyph of Innervate: Has been adjusted to grant the Druid 90% of his or her base mana pool over 20 seconds."
But regular, un-glyphed Innervate "has been redesigned to grant 450% of the casting Druid's base mana pool to the target over 20 seconds."
So, with the glyph we get 340% less mana?
Dec 4th 2007 7:10PM The only thing I'd add to this thread is this: when I was leveling from 20-50-ish, I was often solo. And I died. A lot. I would have died a lot less if I'd been more willing to not just shift into bear form, but START a fight in bear-form. With the right gear choices, bears can take a heck of a lot more hurt than kitties can, and can still dish out some respectable damage.
Moral of this wee story: wise baby druids don't forget about bear form when they get kitty form. (Even if they aren't tanking.)
Nov 19th 2007 5:01PM The real issue here is that both have attacks that increase in damage the more enemies they hit. In a one-on-one fight, all of these are going to be at their weakest.
And why wouldn't Shahraz dive into the stomach? With her Saber Lash and other attacks, she could cut down the Flesh Tentacles pretty handily.
Aug 16th 2007 7:52PM But I thought that the Night Elves were descended/mutated from the High Elves when the Well of Eternity (or the Sunwell, I can never "remember") was sundered!
Doesn't it just make more sense that the High Elves turned into the Night/Blood Elves, the Naga, and Elune-knows-whatelse when everything went to Hellfire in a Handbasket?
I'm so confused...
Jan 5th 2007 7:52PM Multikast is exactly right. If you're going to demand that applicants read your "terms" closely, you should do the same first.
I'm just sayin...
Dec 31st 2006 11:07AM The best place I've found for demographics and analysis of player v. character stuff in MMORPGs in general and WoW in particular is Nick Yee's Daedalus Project:
The dude rocks. And his data is fascinating.
(Oh, and I'm a guy who has no interest in playing female avatars.)
