Mar 29th 2012 11:52PM Got mine, downloading the client now.
Mar 23rd 2012 3:40PM Most likely, Garrosh is possessed by a 'significant' Sha that gets development throughout the course of the expansion. Maybe Doubt, since that's the Sha that had been the hardest for the Pandaren themselves to defeat. Varian and Thrall have spent considerable time combating their own doubt and Garrosh has more or less had success handed to him, but hasn't really had to earn it, thus probably has something to feed the Sha. So it's really along the lines of Ner'zul and Arthas merging than Garrosh going all crazy-like.
Mar 23rd 2012 1:19PM Personally, I think the best way of going about it really would have been allowing users to pre-load the client, and then activate the actual beta account at a later point. Then we wouldn't feel so "outside looking in"-ish. I think my only other concern is that the game is coming "soon", and I'd only have access to maybe 3-4 weeks of ability to play. Regardless, I'm not overwhelmingly concerned. I've still got some standard wow-ing to do, and the current beta information gives the press sites some news to report. Livestreaming is kinda awesome where we are now.
Feb 21st 2012 10:34AM Is that one of the infamous 'dickwolves'?
Feb 1st 2012 9:23AM Works for me as of February 1
Jan 6th 2012 1:52PM Awesome, he mentioned my wild west comment!!
I was also thinking roman, but I figured that MOP would cover it to an extent. I was thinking more of a Roman vs Phoenecian theme, since the Punic wars was a pretty epic period of history. Who would be the Alliance's Caesar? Who would be the Horde's Hannibal?
Jan 5th 2012 11:29AM I like the asian theme as well, and feel it's about time we had a 'new look'. Still, I'd rather they did a little more genre-bending than pigeon-holing us into mythologies. Personally, I'd prefer a "land of the lost/land below" kind of thing, since we didn't really get much of it in either expansion where it would have best applied. Deepholm was a cool zone that just kinda got "blown through", and we never really got to see Azjol'Nerub like we were supposed to.
As for other cultures, Indian/Hindu; or possibly a "US-Old West" sort of environment.
