Oct 12th 2007 11:04PM It's going to cause problems for people with more unique builds, that's for sure, because the idiots who reject healers who don't have at least 50 points in a healing tree are often also the idiots who're too lazy to check the Armoury. Technically it's a great idea to be able to see if that hunter really has all their trap talents -- or it would be if the WoW community was full of generous, group-orientated people willing to give advice and help. As it is, people are more likely to just get pointless abuse and a full ignore list.

Personally I think this sort of thing saps some of the fun out of picking a class/race combination. Not to mention ignores the RP bit of the RPG.

Only Mike still seems to think this. It's just not true anymore. You've lost your oppression card unless you're part of a hardcore guild that's forcing you to be absolutely optimal; most casual or semi-casual raiders I'm aware of have a pally tank and love it. They're the best for heroics.

RE: this change, it's fair enough IMO that feral druid gear is now more like rogue gear. It prevents a lot of sharding since druids aren't a terribly common class and having a lot of gear specifically designed for them must be something Blizzard is worried about.

Jun 19th 2007 10:27PM The moonkin stats are (IMO) too low as well. I'm not well-geared and I have around 700 spell damage going into Kara, and over 20% crit; spell hit's around 12% as well. I think around 10% spell hit should be a minimum for casters, with the expectancy that it goes up to 14-16% later on. At least 600 spell damage for all casters, too.
