Apr 29th 2008 9:41AM Hellscream has been bad too. Every morning from about 6:00AM until 7:30 or so (I usually do a few dailies in the morning before work) there is HORRID lag.
Apr 21st 2008 9:19AM Basically, level 60 is no longer a milestone. It has some "sentimentality" associated with it as it is the old level cap, but it's now irrelevant. You could just as well ask "what can I do at level 40, or 50 that I could do at 35 or 45". It's just a level.
Move on to 70, see some of the awesome instances and fun quests!
Apr 19th 2008 10:41AM Depends on the item.
I'm a fire mage. For my belt of blasting I had made, the primal fires were purchased. Same thing for my Sunfire enchant. But I set a limit - I won't pay more than XX gold for an item. I just buyout when I see it though.
For big ticket items though, I'll wait. I never got the Polymorph: Turtle book, and it started popping up on our AH for about 3000 gold lately. Yeouch. I kept waiting, watching it show up until it popped up for 1700g. Buyout!
There's another one sitting out there for 3500 right now.
Overall though, farming bores me to tears. Daily quests are actually kind of entertaining, so that's how I "farm". I find out how much I need for an enchant/whatever and then I just go do dailies and buy it. I have over 5k gold banked from selling stuff/questing so I just buy things. I hate farming.
Apr 18th 2008 11:53AM she has always tended to ignore the solo game and instead go it alone
Apr 18th 2008 7:49AM Any item you have with an on use/on damage proc (such as Quagmirrans Eye) will proc only at the exact instant the last trash mob dies/your last spell of the boss fight falls.
Mar 17th 2007 9:07PM I'm a geek and damn proud of it - I even got my fiance hooked on the game...now I'm just trying to get her leveled up to 70 and get her into a raid or two...not too sure how that's going to work out yet. She's a pretty casual player, so I'm not sure if she'd get into the raiding thing or not.
Yeah, the WoW forums can suck pretty hard. I never knew how much my class/spec/gear/playstyle sucked until I read the forums and had everyone tell me so :)
Take it w/ grain of salt. I've posted a few questions to the mage forums, and I usually get quality responses (then again, I use grammer, punctuation and spelling *grin*), but there _never_ fails to be a couple of idiots that say something like "l0l, god u suk, lrn to play bettr and you mgiht not suk!!11"
So meh...play on. It's a damned fun game, but sometimes the worst part of an MMORPG is the whole MMO part.
Mar 16th 2007 1:31PM Please god....make none of them heroic.
The thought of running UBRS any more to get one more person Ony or BWL attuned, to farm just one more piece of fire resist gear, etc etc...no...thank...you.
If I want to rerun those instances, I'll roll an alt.
Feb 17th 2007 10:56AM Druids are by far my favorite in the expansion. I've done every instance through Shadow Labs, Arcatraz & Steamvaults with a feral tank. Love that they can pop up and throw a few heals around, and their tanking is amazing. It's really turned into an awesome class.
Feb 6th 2007 1:50PM @ #1 - Thank you!
Those guys drive me insane... the best part is when you are running an instance and there is one guy constantly asking "Hey, can anyone post damage numbers?", "Who's got damage numbers", "Can I get a damage report" after every effing pull. I just want to smack them upside the head and tell them to go download the mod themselves.
Jan 26th 2007 8:02PM My guild (on Azgalor A) had some cloth shoulders drop with some ridiculous int/stam on it. It was pretty funny seeing the comments in guild chat on it.
