I play a lock and not putting at least 41pts in a tree is a waste of pts IMHO.
Sure locks have some awesome talents in all 3 of their trees, but for example to go affliction and not put the 41pts to get UA is unthinkable.
I've sat around playing with different pt/talent distributions, and I almost always find myself putting 40+pts into a single tree as a lock.
I also have a shammy and have that same problem there.
Sep 25th 2007 10:46PM # Wide screen UI scales differently
# UI Scaling in general appears to be a bit funky and requires some tweaking
THANK GOD!!!! I thought I was going crazy, the in-game screen is in widescreen mode, however the UI seems to be in a fullscreen mode :\
Spent an hour mucking around trying to figure out what the heck was wrong. Now I know its blizzards fault! limey bastids!
Still can't get the issue fixed however... anyone with tips?
Sep 17th 2007 12:50PM I say blizzard hand over the account information of all those who have been in that guild and provide that to the authorities.
I don't care if its 'play' or not, fact is it deals with real situations, and has the chance at becoming something worse then it is already.
Have the authorities do a check with these individuals, and if they haven't done anything wrong, they should be afraid to have a few questions asked, and information verified.
I'm a firm believer that its only a matter of time before 'play' turns to reality, specially for those of 'non-conventional thought processes'
Sep 10th 2007 1:18PM you can have it both ways... have a check box in the options menu "Receive Class / Game Mechanic change Notifications"... click it, and from there you can receive an automated update via in-game mail.
Don't check the box, and voila, no in-game mail!
Aug 27th 2007 2:45PM ".. and we wonder why shamans are the least played class because?!"
Aug 21st 2007 5:44PM @27
I've seen so many QQ about how OP Shamans were, and people complained "oh all blizz employee's roll shammy that's why they get so much love".
Well that's a load of BS... and to say its obvious which classes the dev's play because those are the OP one's make you sound more retarded then a special needs child.
Aug 21st 2007 4:58PM "But when you go back in game, and a Warlock deathcoils you into oblivion".
FYI retard, deathcoil lasts all of 3 seconds and has a 2min cooldown... so QQ some more.
A rogues stuns keep you down and out for longer then that.
L2ply your own classes before QQing "nerf" on another.
Aug 17th 2007 4:00PM There's a good reason for interviewing lv70 toons, and that's because they've experienced more content then new players to the game. I'm a casual player and have a lv70 lock under my belt, associating a lv70 with a raider is a mistake... some of us are still casual.
All of this is not to say that a lowbie casual players opinions are not important, just that you still have alot more content to discover.
Nothing is perfect, and everything can be improved upon, always.
Also its a very nice read, sensible questions, and some sound comments /kudos
Aug 9th 2007 9:35PM My very first character was an orc shammy, and it was also my very first time playing an MMO. I had no clue what I had chosen / gotten myself into when deciding on a shammy, yet alone spec.
In the end I was around level 20, and was informed by a friend (same one who got me in the game) that i should apply those points asap. Did some research on the talent trees and ultimately went with what i thought would be most fun / best to level with.
Today I spec all my toons well in advance, and even keep hybrid specs on standby with matching gear just to switch things up every now and again.
