Please stop tipping me {WoW}

Aug 20th 2007 12:34PM i tip every time. personally, i don't always have the time to help someone out in other ways, or am too "casual" to raid or what have you. this way i can still express my gratitude and help them out. next time they repair, buy some cloth, etc, i'll have contributed to that, instead of instance ruins or quests and such.

Circuit City false or stupid advertising -- you decide {Joystiq}

Dec 3rd 2006 1:16AM I think the point is that these corporations could be hiring some game geek to moon light and edit their copy so they have accurate advertising. I'm sure SOMEONE SOMEWHERE who works for circuit city would jump at the chance.

Xbox 360 Fall Update tomorrow, 85+ tweaks included {Joystiq}

Oct 30th 2006 11:17PM how about being able to browse the songs on your pc by directyory structure uinstead of id3 tag. i hate having 17 entries for one artist because of inconsitent id3 tags, and i don't feel like retagging 50+gigs of music and such. XBMC can do it, why can't the 360?

it's what the one enemy (goblin looking guy) says when he gives you rupees, not the old man.

ha, sorry, don't meant one of "those guys", but had to do it.

Jan 30th 2006 1:02PM Oh man, just hope the teh delivery company doesn't lose/deliver your system to someone besides you, or that the one you get back actually works.

I sent mine back, and it would have been here in a matter of days if it weren't for DHL delivering my package to some other place. It also wasn't siugnature required like they said. When they finally found it they said that it was to be delivered to my house, which is not houw i filled out the shipping slip. I wanted them to send it to my palce of work, since i figured there would always be someone there to sign for it. I was told by MS customer service to "put a note" in with the system to tell them where to ship it. I also filled out the shipping form, having the clerk at th counter check it to make sure the return shipping address was correct. I also had to goto the airport myself to pick it up, or they woudl attempt to deliver it to my house the next day when i was at work, i i woudl assume leave it on my doorstpe since it was not signature required. When i finally got the package, my shipping label (which once again was my home address, not the return shipping address i had filled out on the form) was crosed out with a marker and someone else name was scrawled all over the box.

So when i finally did get my system back from them (like 15 days) the system itself not only locked/froze up after about 5-10 minutes of play, it also looked like crap. Not the graphic, but the greasy handprits all over the system, or the fact that when the case was put back together, the plastic teeth were misalinged and were chipped/broken/sticking out of the seam on the abck of the system.

This is probably a more isolated incident but be wary.
