Sep 2nd 2010 9:53AM But remember, Brad said it's ready for release! Except the multiplayer part, where "release" means get it working at some point later.
Jul 8th 2010 8:19PM Oh that's just what I was looking for, thanks!
Jul 8th 2010 5:55PM Just to reply to myself in case anybody else has the same questions, Arcana's Experience Broker and Reagent Broker do similar things. Reagent Restocker looks good too, trying it out now. :)
Jul 8th 2010 5:34PM I've been looking for replacements for mods like ExperienceFu and ReagentFu without much luck. Any advice there?
Jul 7th 2010 4:50PM Yeah right. Both of them take their orders from the same management group, who can change their minds pretty quickly. CMs are NOT decision makers. They tell us what they're told to tell us, and that's it.
Jul 7th 2010 4:49PM There's a couple possible scenarios:
1. Most likely, someone is writing one, but taking their time to do a well written piece rather then just rushing anything out.
2. They don't want to jeopordize their fansite relationship with Blizzard by coming out against this nonsense.
It's probably #1.
Jul 7th 2010 4:48PM The same thing has already also been done to a poster who was in support of Real ID, until he got a phone call at work from someone else on the forum: http://community.livejournal.com/worldofwarcraft/8369152.html?nc=27
It's totally fair game, since this is EXACTLY what people are afraid of with this insane change. Blizzard knew full well exactly what would happen, and did it anyway. The point has now been proven.
Jul 7th 2010 4:46PM This is complete BS. The massive and fatal flaw in their scheme was exposed, and to fix it they're just going to hide the employees but still let the customers suffer?
Folks, this is how a business acts when it's at it's peak and starting to decline. They've lost touch with what made them a success in the first place.
The end of WoW's dominance is nigh, and it was Blizzard themselves that got the ball rolling.
May 31st 2010 7:42AM Also worth mentioning that Hymn of Hope stacks with other people casting Hymn of Hope. Each one increases your max mana, and thus each tick gives you that much more mana. Get 3 Priests in a 25 man raid to cast it all at the same time and watch the mana roll in.
May 26th 2010 7:48AM PvE servers are more popular then PvP servers, because the problems that destroy the smaller faction on a PvP server laregely don't exist on a PvE one. It's immensely frustrating to try to level and be constanly ganked by an army of high level idiots. So people leave. That makes it more imbalanced, so more people leave. That shallows the raid recruting pool, so even more people leave.
Ultimately, converting these failed PvP servers over to PvE ones is the only hope for fixing them.
