Apr 1st 2010 5:43PM Varren Alpha encounter isn't in Omega Junkyard, it's in LZHC (Lower Zhu's Hope Colony), DUH!!
Aug 22nd 2009 8:58AM It seems to me they felt the need of making WoW 2, but they couldn't wholly do it (it would be insane to kill WoW right now, lots of people would be really mad and probably they wouldn't play it, and if they support both games, they would be competing with themselves). So, they kinda made it, but will sell it as an "expansion".
I think it's fine (apart from some lore absurdities that i have some faith they will at least make an excuse for or just fix it or change it from that it is now), but it itches me a bit that's a lot of work recreating Azeroth and that it would only make full sense if they sent everyone back to level 1 (or selling it as a separate game), else it's just around 10 million people saying "wow, neat, look at all these changes i'm seeing with this alt" while they either rush to 85 or play seriously with their previously 80-soon-to-be-85 main, cause that's where the real action is, as it has always been.
It just doesn't feel as touchy and exciting and awe inspiring as it would be that way, at least to me. It's just something to see when you're not playing the end game.
Jan 12th 2007 7:37AM Regarding the shards comments, given the info about Kazzak finding an ancient artifact that allowed him to open the Dark Portal, and Kruul seeking shards of the Dragon Aspects, one can only think something regarding the Demon Soul.
Jan 11th 2007 12:58PM In my realm, around 90% of the people in Ironforge came up with some wacky ideas like kiting him to the forge and everyone attacks him there (and spamming general, trade, and yell channel with shouts of "TO THE FORGE"), sending low levels first to serve as meat wall, stating the more people attacking him the more powerful he is (well, in a way, yes, but...), saying he is Illidan so Blizzard won't let us kill the main boss of the game now, and even telling warlocks to enslave him. Of course, around 30 people and pets and guards died each each 5 seconds, or each second if he was in supreme.
The best attemp was for a mixed raid that pulled him down the slope to Ironforge and downed him to 80-85%, before some of those people went and take a quick look at how they were doing. Shrugged afterwards. I just stood out of sight of him the whole hour watching people die and die, pretty sure noone would down him there in my realm.
