Does the Annual Pass guarantee instant beta access? {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 5:20PM You know what would make up for this whole "getting access to the beta 1-4 weeks later than anticipated" thing?

Getting access to Diablo 3 1-4 weeks early. Just sayin', I'd take that as compensation for not getting the insta-invite I thought I had. Think about it, Blizz. Think about it.

Mar 21st 2012 2:51PM A Bioware sci-fi game that published with a bitterly disappointing and suspiciously half-assed ending? Gosh, I'm sure glad THAT'S never happened before. *Looks at KOTOR 2*

Feb 24th 2012 8:58PM Is anybody else incredibly disappointed this won't be coming out on PC?

(I, for one, had no problems with bugs, and though the game was pretty freaking sweet on PC, a sentiment shared throughout my group of gaming friends.)

Wow, I hope that banned comment was a joke. Or is the moral of the story "Don't criticize any games/services an author on Joystiq happens to like at the risk of being banned"?

The Light and How to Swing It: Radical changes to holy paladins on the 4.3 PTR {WoW}

Oct 2nd 2011 6:12PM While I wouldn't care to argue in favor of stagnancy in game design, I do think it would be nice if I didn't have to re-learn how to play a particular class/role on a semi-regular basis. The sheer delight the WoW dev team seems to find in overhauling things has done a lot to push me away from WoW, especially since Cataclysm launched. (I've been playing since vanilla--even bought the Cata CE.)

I was thinking of starting to play seriously and get back into raiding on my resto druid or holy pally, but this is exactly the kind of thing that I've been sick of over the past year or so. While it's great that the devs are continually concerned with balance issues, it sure would be nice if they could manage it without changing entire spell mechanics and the like.

Anybody else in that boat?
