Apr 6th 2007 12:03PM Just a note that reckoning now procs off of any hit, not just crits. It only took Blizzard a couple years to realize that a talent deep in the protection tree probably shouldn't be based on being critted. :)
Even though I've seen it before, that video gets me every time. I love how it takes a noticeable amount of time for the server to process all the extra swings, so you actually see Kazzak's health go down in a couple massive chunks instead of just full to dead, even though it all came off of one swing.
On a smaller scale, reck bombs were great fun in PVP. :)
Feb 16th 2007 4:10PM If rep grinds aren't your thing (although they are a lot easier now it seems), for 50 Badges of Justice, you can buy this baby which is even better:
Every boss in a heroic mode instance will drop 1 Badge of Justice that every party member can pick up.
Feb 2nd 2007 5:19PM Happened to me. They deemed "Joekickass" an inappropriate name when he was somewhere in the mid 30s. Although when I made the character, I kind of expected to be forced to change it sooner than that.
It was fun while it lasted, especially when you completed a quest like the VC chain that involved a zone-wide NPC yell: "Three cheers for Joekickass" etc.
Feb 2nd 2007 4:01PM @1: What the Fen Rays in The Underbog do is technically a "horror" effect which has always been distinct from a "fear" effect. Fear Ward only blocks "fear" effects.
Similarly, while the Warlocks "Fear" spell is a fear effect (duh), the "Death Coil" spell is a horror effect.
