The Queue: In which Adam proposes to Katie {WoW}

Feb 25th 2011 11:46AM huge grats Adam!

"The Exalted" title requirement change reverted {WoW}

Feb 12th 2011 2:55AM "They're also achievable. If they did what you suggested, anyone would, as soon as they got their 40th exalted rep, earn both achievements, the one that's a feat of strength with a title, and the new one without."

I get what you're saying. I am probably just confused on how they handle kill-based ones, like The Immortal or The Undying, and wonder how they turn that off, even though we're still able to do the achievement requirements, but not be rewarded.

Feb 12th 2011 2:06AM I apparently didn't hit the reply button when posting this originally. My bad :o I reposted where it was supposed to go.

"The Exalted" title requirement change reverted {WoW}

Feb 12th 2011 2:04AM They said they can't remove a title from an achievement without it being removed from people who got the achievement. There is, as far as i know, nothing stopping them from moving the 40 exalted to a feat of strength, and having it maintain the title, then recreating a new 40 exalted achievement without the title, and having the 50 exalted give out the title.

This should be possible, considering rated battlegrounds are handing out PvP titles that were also given out as Feats to those who played during Classic.

(I messed up replying, oops)

"The Exalted" title requirement change reverted {WoW}

Feb 12th 2011 12:32AM why not have converted it to a feat of strength (the old 40 achievements) and put in a new one with the same requirements in it's place? That would have allowed the grandfathering and allowed them to move the title to 50?

The Queue: Old Gods? In my dig site? {WoW}

Jan 31st 2011 12:19PM I am up over 360 tailoring recipe's now, using Ackis. If there hasnt been a stable, use the alpha releases.

On an RP server, people look for different looking armours all the time. Selling the old recipe's might actually happen in that case. Even old weapon enchants might sell if the person likes the glow on their weapon. When I first started playing I got a completely useless enchant on my staff simply for the glow, lol.

Breakfast Topic: What mods could you not live without? {WoW}

Jan 28th 2011 10:13AM hmm Domino's, ChocolateBar, Prat, and Carbonite are the 4 must-haves. Auto-bar, kgPanels, Pitbull, Grid, MSBT i'd say are game changers, but the game can be played without them

The Queue: Stonecore frustrations {WoW}

Jan 26th 2011 12:09PM Stonecore's major problem is that 2 fights require coordination and movement, with one requiring knowing how big the stupid hit box is. Corborus can kill you even if you aren't on the rumble, and the transition from underground to above ground is very tricky, as some of the adds are still up and he does the crystal shards almost immediately. I like the drake fight a lot, but the hit box on him sucks majorly.

Ozruk is another fun fight, but again, requires coordination and movement. I am also convinced that Elementium Bulwark is on a longer cooldown than his paralyze and shatter (that may just be my imagination) which makes the fight harder.

Azil is a good fight. I like it, and my one issue is being fixed by making her bigger so she's easier to see through the void zones and all the adds.

Breakfast Topic: Which achievement are you most proud of? {WoW}

Jan 24th 2011 11:50AM Completing the Dreadsteed quest back in Vanilla. I know all locks now get it at 40, but whenever it comes up in my random mount addon i beam a little inside.

Getting Knight-Captain back in the day. I wanted to go one more rank but the amount of pvp at the time would have taken me like 8-10 weeks to get there.

Also getting The Cake is not a lie achievement felt good, and Captain Rumseys Lager meant i got all the cooking daily recipes and could stop doing the outland and northrend ones.
