Apr 19th 2007 11:23AM I thought this graphic was from Tempest Keep's Arcatraz? Not Coilfang.
Anyway, nice picture :)
Apr 19th 2007 8:18AM I dont play on a PvP server, i play on PvE. But STV is the place to go if you want some PvP fun whilst leveling. It seems Samantha Swifthoof is too much of a temptation for Ally's on my server.
I rolled a Shaman alt not long ago and id hadnt changed since going there with my main.
Maybe its because you get addicted to killing anything that moves after Nessigwarys mass genocide quests....
Feb 9th 2007 5:16AM It seems to me that most posts on this thread are Dps classes. That or they have never played a feral druid etc.
I would just like to say that some of the people here saying that druids should be pooping out of forms to help heal etc is utter rubbish, the only exception to this being in 'cat form'.
If you have a Druid tanking for you in an instance it is NOT clever to be shifting out and attempting to help heal, if we do that then we LOSE all the rage we had aquired b4 hand, thus meaning that the druid is then likely to lose aggro pretty fast and will end up causing a wipe anyway. The druid should never need to switch out to heal themselves because they should be using Frenzied Regeneration, if the druid needs more of a health boost than this then its either been a bad pull or the healer is not doing thier job properly.
On the other hand though there is no reason for the druid not switching out in cat form because they have nothing to lose but combo points / energy.
I have played all specs on my Druid (feral atm, although i only specced balance for a short period at lower levels b4 speccin into resto). I know the strengths and weaknesses of both and my advise to the people moaning about us would be - play a druid / priest / shamen before you start bitching and moaning about how they should be played. Its not as Black and White as you think.
Jan 26th 2007 7:17AM Pete i understand what you are saying completly mate. Its just some people on here are either slagging Blizz off or having a proper cry about it.
The point im tryin to make is that the game has changed dramatically over the past 2 weeks with the expansion and Blizz will have enough on their plate maintaining and supporting that. I have no doubts that some of the quests/quest lines will change sooner or later, and i dont have a problem with that. I just think it is the wrong time to want something like this. Like i have said before, if you are getting bored lvlin your alt, then there is more than enough to do with your main at the moment.
Just a quick question though. Would you really want to see 'kill 10 of these quests'? I have to say that they are the quests i hate most because the bore me to death. If changes were to be made i would rather have to kill a named mob for instance or group q's
Jan 26th 2007 4:53AM I can see where alot of people are coming from with the lvlin problems but i would just like to point a few things out -
1 - Blizzard has just released the Burning Crusade and developed a whole new MAP which is full of new QUESTS.
2 - If you are rollin a new char, then you should be able to switch to your main if you get bored just to release the frustration a little bit.
Give the guys at Blizzard a break please. They have spent alot of time tryin to please alot of people bringing out a new expansion that has content above 60 and new races to roll should you wish to do that. Yet its been released what? 10 days and people are bitching and slagging blizzard off in this thread.
'I believe that Blizz is no different from other MMORPG vendors in that they figure you will get bored and quit after they have gotten their $150+ game cost out of you and they see nothing in it for them to put in new content.'
^^ What a load of shit that is!!! If anybody believes that statement, you need to find a quiet corner and have a quick word with yourself. They HAVE put in new content - your just bitchin because YOU havent got new quests in azeroth after lvl 20 to complete.
Lets face it - if they were to please everybody - e.g new content past 60 - new content and quests under lvl 60, they might aswell scrap the game as we know it (apart from the maps) and start again!
Give em a break, if you ask me they have done an exeptional job with the Burning Crusade and im sure that eventually there will be new content to explore for under 60's, until then stop QQ and appreciate what Blizzard has done.
Jan 25th 2007 10:44AM I have to say that i dont hate anyone that is competent enough to play the class that they have chosen.
As a Feral Druid (horde) i have a love/hate relationship with Warriors though. This is because there are warriors around now that just dont bother tanking at all when a f.druid is in thier group - that just gets on my nerves because a feral druid imo should not be tanking - they should be doing everything because they are suppoosed to be jack of all trades and not a specific role. I like to tank - but only when i have to, i like to dps when we gotta kill somethin quick and i also like to heal under pressure/when needed, there is nothing better than healing the priest when he is getting hit or innervating him when he goes oom, kinda like returning the favour :P
To sum up i hate those that act like utter idiots, but i really enjoy grouping with those that dont.

I think Wal-Marts figures were based on what BC will sell everywhere in the first 10 days. I dont think they are expecting to sell 5 million of them by themselves. After all, there are only 8 million subscribers worldwide so i would be suprised anyone was planning on selling that much!
I could be wrong. If i am then someone needs a reality check at Wal-Mart
Jan 24th 2007 9:58AM @ No 10
Im a Feral Drood - mwahahahahah!!!! :P
Dont hate the playa hate the game :P

There is nothing wrong with Blizzard giving out free trials mate, it brings more people to the game and makes good business sense to Blizzard. As if the top dogs at Blizzard are gonna walk into Warcraft HQ one day and say - 'hey - we now have 8 million gamers subscribed!! Stop giving out 10 day trials because we make enough money now!'
To everyone on this thread that is moaning saying that they hate spam - blah blah blah. Its not hard just to ignore it like i do - or just leave the chat that is grating on ya nerves! Its not rocket science after all. Blizzard have given you the opportunity to ignore it if you want to, so why not use it instead of moaning?
If you ask me the real problem lies with the critters that actually buy the gold from these gold farmers ( as mentioned by No 15). If nobody bought the stuff in the first place - there wouldnt be any spam about it because it would be a waste of time.
I have always wondered why anybody would buy gold anyway. I have found that buying weapons etc at early lvl's (and higher lvl's to a certain degree) is pointless because you are bound to find better or something almost the same questin anyway.
As for bringing in rules about stopping anyone under lvl 6 joining chat channels or whispers - they pay the same subscription as you dude. Why cant they join the same chat channels and make the same whisps that you can? Taking this away from the masses of players out there that are actually serious about the game is the wrong way about it, its not fair on them.
Im just glad i dont have to work out a way to stop this sort of thing and be fair to everybody. It must be hard for Blizzard to come up with a valid solution - good luck with that blizz.....

The CORRECT spelling is Armour Honour and Colour. It is called the ENGLISH language for a reason - correct me if im wrong but it could be that the language originates from England??
So my response to you would be stop tinkering with our language and taking out U's so you dont have to write as much!!! ;P
