Encrypted Text: Fresh rogue rotations in Cataclysm {WoW}

Oct 6th 2010 7:31PM I haven't mained my rogue since BC but I'm thinking of coming back to him.

Is Rupture still a thing for combat? Like what are the actual nuts and bolts rotations going to look like?

WoW.com reacts to Cataclysm raid changes, page 2 {WoW}

Apr 28th 2010 10:27PM I'm really optimistic about this change.

I thought when they announced 10 man versions of all raids that it would be really easily possible for people to have 10 man guilds. But on my server for a variety of reasons most guilds, even guilds that had no bussiness being 25 man guilds pushed for 25 man raids. I don't think anyone on Dawnbringer US has even cleared Lich King 25 but damned if you can find more than a small handful of guilds who'd rather focus on 10 man progress than 25 person futility.

As someone who enjoys the small team aspect of 10s about a million times more than 25s mass management I'm thrilled.

StarCraft 2 given 'Adults Only' rating in South Korea {Joystiq}

Apr 19th 2010 11:06AM In Korea it was rated 18 Admirial. I'm looking at my korean copy of it right now.

StarCraft 2 given 'Adults Only' rating in South Korea {Joystiq}

Apr 19th 2010 6:16AM There is an embarassing lack of context with this story.

Adults only (18 and over) is the equivalent of an M here. Starcraft 2 may have gotten the 18+ rating, but so did Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, God of War, Fallout 3, Dragon Age, Dead Space, Modern Warfare 2, Bioshock and Assasin's creed 2 and that's just from my PS3 collection.

Cataclysm Class Changes: Paladin {WoW}

Apr 14th 2010 11:34AM Which is why what they need is a multitarget raid healing spell that's on a par with WG, and CoH and such.

So we can do it we just have to expose ourselves to all the threats put on the melee. But don't worry we can cast other stuff while we use this spell which prevents us from moving...oh yeah that'll be great.

Cataclysm Class Changes: Paladin {WoW}

Apr 14th 2010 11:23AM I don't get it they're like we want paladins to be good group healers and not just tank healers. Now here's a big fat inferior heal that requires you be close to people to use and therefore in range lots of attacks.

Korea to impose gaming curfew to curb minors' playtime {Joystiq}

Apr 13th 2010 2:29AM I really feel like this is ridiculous.

People send their kids to private schools (Hagwons) almost the entire day. Some of my students are, no joking at all, are in school or on their way to and from schools from 8-9 in the morning till 10 or 11 at night.

If one of my students goes home after class at 10:10 it probably takes him 10-20 minutes to get home. So maybe he makes it to the PC room by 10:30 he's like only alowed to play for what like 90 minutes before the government turns it off.

Korea to impose gaming curfew to curb minors' playtime {Joystiq}

Apr 13th 2010 2:22AM Yeah that's pretty much standard practice for any online service in South Korea. I live here and had to give them my alien card number to try playing some korean games. Even the SK version of Facebook requires this, so it's just par for the course. They know how old you are.

Raid Rx: Cataclysm raid healing thoughts {WoW}

Apr 9th 2010 10:26PM I kind of resent the fact that my new priest spell is one I used in BWL. Heal really? You took it away from us when you nerfed downranking to hell in TBC and then totally killed it in Wrath. Is this your idea of a joke Blizzard?

I don't really have a problem with the concept but I wish they had named it something else.

I really think mana management is fine, if it's tuned right. I'd like them to actually make it a thing in heroics too so people get into the habit of thinking about it from the word go.

Anti-Aliased Special Edition: Net neutrality, the FCC, Comcast, and Glenn Beck pt. 2 {Massively}

Apr 8th 2010 8:17AM True but there's this proposition being floated that only a free market produces desirable results.

In the US we pay a lot, we get a little and in huge parts of the country you can't even get the crappy service. Like tons of countries have more regulated service and they pay less for more.
