Jan 7th 2009 4:29PM I have a troll prot warrior that never tanks without listening to reggae. Keeps him in character.
Dec 14th 2008 9:21AM I spent a good long hour just walking around and taking the place in, then I bought the Dalaran ring and the Traveler's Mammoth and did the cooking daily.
Dec 12th 2008 10:15AM The only think I can think of that I really miss is the old AV... I really wish they'd find a way to bring the quests and the npc bosses back into focus without breaking the battleground.
One thing that I don't miss is the old consumable stacking rules. Being an alchemist/herbalist back then could be quite painful :P
Nov 28th 2008 12:27PM I like having Dalaran as a no-fly zone, it really made it feel more lika a city and less like a big helipad.
Wintergrasp, however, has already caused me lots of headaches, even if I manage to land before falling to my death, I still haven't found a way to get off the plateau except for teleporting out or running all the way to the flight path. :P
Nov 19th 2008 10:28AM I'd say it's definitely worth it, at least if you're not a mage, or have immediate access to a mage.
Nov 19th 2008 5:53AM I haven't done any instances yet, so my first upgrade from my T6/Badge gear wasn't until the "ring of blood"-style quest in Zul'Drak (which I completed at level 76). I don't complain, people in T4 seemed to get their replacements much earlier, and those levelling straight through from outland got theirs earlier still... as it should be.
