Nov 12th 2007 4:17AM Not "doppleganger" but "doppelganger".
Oct 20th 2007 6:38AM Oh yeah, and the link to the article:
Oct 20th 2007 6:38AM A german language article about a grandpa (81) playing World of Warcraft.
He started playing, when his grandchild showed him the game. He played Settlers before in the previous century.
Now he has a high level Tauren hunter, approaching level 70. He has some alts, but concentrates on his hunter mainly. His whole family is very proud of him, except the wife, who thinks his husband went a little crazy about the game.
He is playing on a german language realm "Der Rat von Dalaran" (The Rat of Dalaran)
He finds playing with more than three in a party a little too stressing, so he mainly soloes the content. However he likes to talk and chat with fellow mates.
Oct 2nd 2007 3:36AM I levelled my human warrior in Exodar and draenei starting area. I was able to do all the quests except the Shaman ones (I have a lvl 67 shaman too).
First thing was to put HS in shattrah, then everything was open for me.
It's not only easier to level at the Draenei, but much more colorful than in Stormwind eg.
Sep 17th 2007 7:58AM There are groups which simply doesn't work. I tell them so and I wish them good luck with their next group.
If the group is okay, just needs somebody to tell them how to do things, I take over that role usually.
Sep 17th 2007 7:27AM You play WoW as you wish. If you are bored, leave it, don't whine in an article. IMHO.
Sep 17th 2007 7:12AM Make her understand, that the man shes loves likes to play WoW. Without WoW you wouldn't be the same person anymore. If she loves you, then she'll understand you need some lonely offhours.
Girlfriend as a notion means, that she is your friend as well. Why would a friend prohibit things you like to do?
Sep 14th 2007 7:17AM The GM clearly made a serious mistake.
If Blizzard wants to prevent this, let them guess something which fits into game mechanics as well.
Simply saying: "don't do that" is not enough for reasoning.
Aug 27th 2007 4:46AM I've played MMO-s named MUDs many years ago, when the game had only a textual representation of the things happening. I liked it very much. That time I never imagined anybody could ever program a game like WoW. I admire the knowledge behind the game mechanics as well.
If I play WoW, it completely switches me off. I'm not even mad if people ninja items or play noobs. These adds to the flavour of the game.
Aug 15th 2007 4:55AM I'm sorry, but I had an Arcan Power+trinket instant Pyro crit for 11804. I achieved that in a raid and my mates saw that on their damage meters as well. It was against a high level, not fire vulnerable elite mob.
For fire vulnerable mobs my highest crit was over 25k in Blackwing Lair on level 60.
However, my average crits on level 70 are around 4-6k. I never try to crit a rat.
