Oct 19th 2008 3:58AM I'm not sure if this was ask before so if it was, can someone link me the post?
Would leveling crafting skills around 350-375 be made easier i.e. no need to do the faction grinding or the instance grinding or mob grinding or the primal drop farming grind? The prospect of going through all that again with new characters is making my head hurt.
Jun 5th 2008 10:01PM Adam,
One question : aren't the Class Masters present suppose to also help to micro manage the raid in this particular instance? Like dedicated class chat channels to make sure that everyone knows where to stand.
Or that in the absence of the Class Master, the class players in that channel can organize themselves? Even if it means checking with that person one at a time?
Do you guys look out for one another? Because it sounds like if you all are having this problem, it doesn't sound like there's much unity/team spirit within the 25-man.
Aug 14th 2007 9:02PM Hope that you're able to find another guild. Funny thing about guilds is that even progressive ones label themselves as casual. My guild is but we've been doing alright in Kara and HKM. Moving onto Gruul but we're willing to take in new members that are not yet level 70. Mostly Healers rather than DPSers as we have a lot of subs.
And we've been fortunate that a lot of people who do join us are ex-hardcore-raiders-wanting-casual-raids that we get the expertise and they are an inspiration to those who have not raided before.
And yeah, it's the people that make the guild. But we do notice a trend. People who want to raid and want a friendly atmosphere for raiding, stays and makes it work (takes about 1-2 weeks of acclimatization). People who only wanted to raid, leave pretty early.
Jul 24th 2007 9:05PM This reminds me of another game named "A Tale in the Desert" where laws are discussed extensively on their forums and put up for Voting at various voting booths.
Also, in the same game, there were extensively campaigning done to become a Demi-Pharaoh. But there's only so much one can do in-game as a "leader" outside of guild development. Community Development sounds nice but when it comes down to it, there's really not much them as leaders can do to alter a person's game environment other than style of gameplay. Player disputes are extremely hard for them to settle.
Mar 27th 2007 9:04PM I hope that the login process is smoother now. Being an Oceanic player in Asia, it's strange to see the IP logins not goto California but head all the way to New York. Wonder if this will help with the current lag faced by Oceanic players.
Feb 28th 2007 8:05PM I sometimes wonder about that census. It's saying that all servers have relatively the same population, including the overpopulated ones.
Am waiting for the day that Blizz will have a site to publish out these data. Since they're opening up more and more of their databases with number crunching, it would be interesting to see what is the actual numbers really are.
Feb 22nd 2007 7:46PM My Holy Priest dishes out more DPS than my Feral druid. This was starting from Lvl35ish onwards. So much so she's starting to get scary.
Feb 3rd 2007 11:47AM one thing not to do when going feral is to split your talent points 50-50 between feral and resto tree.
get enough points down to mangle plus a few other feral features. no need for all. then leftover talent points into resto.
key is the armor. once u hit 50+, time to go from looking at stats to getting better crits, hit ratings, attack points, etc.
