BigRedKitty: Armor penetration stinks {WoW}

Dec 27th 2008 2:41PM I'm sorry, but this is totally necessary. Yes, it sucks for PVE, but Armor Pen needed a rating to prevent it from staying overpowered in PVP. A warrior will not get a 5 stack of sunder in a PVP situation. But Armor Pen gets its full value right off the bat. Unless you want to make cloth classes even more worthless than they currently are, deal with it.
Or, get Blizzard to make stats have differing effects versus mobs and players.

New items show up in Patch 3.0.8 {WoW}

Dec 14th 2008 10:48AM Why the hit rating on the pvp cloth items? Are we going to be facing many level 83 characters?

Arcane Brilliance: The wonders of Frostfire {WoW}

Dec 6th 2008 11:00PM "Shadowflame is a Warlock spell of the Destruction tree. It is a Cone AoE ability that affects multiple targets within its reach, dealing direct Shadow damage and a Fire damage-over-time effect to each." trainable at 75, same as frostfire. They are even lazier than you know.

Blood Pact: Affliction and Demonology in Patch 3.0.2 {WoW}

Oct 24th 2008 12:59AM I recently specced Demo for the first time, including Meta. I did so in order to solo all of the old world instances that I needed for the meta-achievement. For that purpose, it works fine, it immo aura saved my butt a few times in Strat when I made a bad pull, (heck, I'm new to Demo after all). That being said, once I finish all of those, I will be speccing Destro, as I've already tried Affli and want to get a feel for all three before I settle on any.
For interests sake, before the patch I was a hybrid affli/destro, with backlash, conflag, nightfall and siphon life.

Poll: iPhone price drop blues {Engadget}

Sep 6th 2007 12:05AM I feel sorry for the early adopters, but this was a pre-emptive strike for Apple. They might be able to carry a more premium price in their ipod and mac lines, simply because they are more established, but not so with the iphone. There is going to be a rash of lookalikes, imitators and some genuine excellent competition coming out in the next few months, and Apple is taking what steps it feels is necessary to insulate the iphone from that. Yes it might piss some people off, but in the long run, it makes far more sense to do whjatever you can to ensure the long-term viability of the product.

How would you change Windows Vista? {Engadget}

Aug 20th 2007 1:58AM Also, when using a dual monitor setup with OSX, if I know I'm going to be swtiching between applications frequently, I will keep my mouse near the menu bar, and use cmd-tab to switch between applications, rather than clicking on the windows themselves. Not the most elegant sloution, but it does help speed things up.

EA shows clearest 'bullshot' in a long time {Joystiq}

Jul 27th 2007 6:55AM To the guy whom it took ages to figure out how to resize his window because the bottom-right corner wasn't visible. Did it take you more or less than fifteen minutes to click on the green button on the upper left?

Apple CFO hints at possibly big "product transitions" before September {Engadget}

Jul 26th 2007 12:27PM You use two fingers instead of one to simulate a right click on a laptop. Just FYI...
