In-game changes for January 5th, 2010 {WoW}

Jan 5th 2010 9:26PM What about the Netherstorm quests that don't work because of Forge of Souls? Were those fixed?

WoW 5th Anniversary Giveaway: Spectral Kitten loot code {WoW}

Nov 23rd 2009 11:19PM Every time someone in Trade chat macros an elaborate Failboat or ROFLcopter, I usually follow that immediately with:

Turning off the fog effect {WoW}

Oct 13th 2009 9:15PM I turned off the fog but there is still DEPTH CUEING. How do I turn that off?

Your fourth chance to pick up a Creative World of Warcraft wireless headset {WoW}

Oct 7th 2009 6:22PM I would like to hear XTC on these things. Or perhaps Scars on Broadway... nope, definitely XTC.

*feels badly for everyone who posted without mentioning a genre or band*

[Updated] No Wolpertinger and Pink Elekk quests for Europe {WoW}

Sep 22nd 2009 8:06PM There should be smoking ingame. I mean, the legal age for smoking is lower in most states than drinking age, and Blizzard has no problem putting a drink in players' hands.

Rolling a doobie would have to go under First Aid skills (i.e. medicinal), and the toke would be a buff to remember (or perhaps forget).

Breakfast Topic: Why Blizzard should make authenticators mandatory on Battle.net accounts {WoW}

Sep 12th 2009 8:33PM "Some people got hacked, so everyone should get an authenticator, which may or may not prevent this. Probably not."

I just see such a move as generating more money for Blizzard. Isn't the expansion going to do that anyway?

Sam Raimi's production diary {WoW}

Jul 28th 2009 10:04PM TRON. Yes it was a video game, so it counts as a video game movie. Sort of.

Addiction therapists trying to help addicted in the game {WoW}

Jul 27th 2009 10:46PM Proper headline should have been:

"Psych Docs Living Off Soup Bones, Start Trolling WoW To Make Dough"

Because that's all they really care about. Bums on couches.

Breakfast Topic: Do you wish we didn't have to use AddOns? {WoW}

Jul 7th 2009 4:27PM NAMEPLATES. WoW has them but they are too big and move all over the place, making it difficult to target things in a mob. There are two nameplate addons. One has no features and won't let me resize them, and the other has too many features, is a resource hog and not updated recently.

"evls_Nameplates" is the one I use (it's part of an addon pack) but I would dearly love to be able to resize them to be narrower and have a smaller hit box to keep them from jumping around so much. Oh, and it has to be a simple addon with no special design frills.

Enter to win some loot cards from WoW.com and WoWTCG.com {WoW}

Jul 4th 2009 3:20PM Always glad for a shot at some card loot.
