Jan 21st 2009 8:08PM I've done the ZD achievement on 6 characters now, how are people failing it? From what I've seen, I have done 101 quests on each char there and you only need 100.
Jan 20th 2009 12:06AM I sincerely hope the patch is tonight. But I won't be surprised if it doesn't drop. This is Blizzard after all lol.
Jan 19th 2009 8:09PM Frost dks are also very strong aoe tankers. I can keep aggro on multiple mobs by using howling blast every 6 seconds without having to rely on death and decay.
Jan 19th 2009 7:36PM You don't really need to spend any points on strength if you are duel wielding, you get extra dps from having 2 weapons (and extra parry if they are tanking weapons). The parry insta-gib isn't so much of an issue anymore due to mobs 3 lvls higher not crushing the tanks anymore.
The main 2 problems with it is the talent points and the expertise needed. I'm hoping that with better gear in the next contenet patch (tanking gear with expertise or something) dw tanking might become more viable.
Also, with duel wielding, you will use the parry rune forging enchant whereas 2h will be using the def+stam one, meaning that 7% extra dmg becomes only 3%.
I will admit it's not completely viable atm, but here's hoping.
Jun 4th 2007 3:49PM I reackon the raids deserve to be griefed by people on flying mounts due to the amount of spam that they cause Kazzak to shout across the zone.
And I agree with #6, all the guilds are in competition with each other, and if i manage to prevent a guild from downing him and gain phat loots, then all the better for my guild to stay ahead or catch up in pregression.
Mar 12th 2007 4:17AM I love shadow priests, and have always raided as one. Rogues and other dps don't take massive hits, they take smaller or more infrequent hits, so gradual healing is awesome for them. Also, not only are they giving heals, but they are doing dmg as well :) Explain how a class who can heal while doing dmg at the same time is not the healing master class.
Take the rag fight for example, only the tanks get hit for heaps and require concentrated healing, whereas all the dps is spread around taking only relatively minor hits. I can not count the number of times the healer for a group (pally for example) heals everyone back to full health then sits around and waits for the next bit of dmg. Now a shadow priest on the other hand can heal that group back up while doing dps as well...sure does help against those 1% wipes!!!!
Mar 5th 2007 12:45AM Relax buddy, we all know blizzard is going to enable us warlocks to wear plate armour soon anyway so we can just drain tank. Finally warlocks will be able to go flatout in raids without fear of stealing aggro, after all this time of being negleted.
Feb 4th 2007 10:58AM My chars:
pargelenis (gnome warrior)
longshlong (human mage)
totemtoker (Dr pally)
hofosho (BE mage)
Ininja (human priest)
Many many compliments :)
Feb 4th 2007 10:39AM The reason why not everybody uses it is because not everyone wants to. And you can't bag them for not wanting to, when people didn't want to use the LFG channel because of the spam. Boohoo, its just text, l2skimread.
Anyway, it's the people who didn't like the LFG who wanted a change, the people who didn't mind the LFG and didn't go crying to their mummies due to a few capital letters didn't want a change. So of course the people who wanted to keep the LFG channel are going to complain about the new system.
A VERY good point that someone pointed out was the passive/spu of the moment joiner. More than half the groups I joined was when I saw an instance advertised and thought, "well I'm in the area, what the heck." And the lvl caps!!
The LFG channel worked because anyone who was remotely interested in a group was in it, you are welcome to leave it if you wanted to just grind. I really don't see how the spam can annoy you unless you read it anyway, as I said, l2skimread, we are all supposed to be nerds so it can't be that hard.
Jan 22nd 2007 10:32PM I have one of those chairs, I got it for free when a part of our site was being cleaned out for demolition. Though the chair I use I find to be a lot more comfortable even though its older then me.
Take it from me, you will love the extra space with a larger desk!
