Jul 15th 2009 12:14PM sweet watch. we should fix the global economy by using these watches in place of currency.
Oct 3rd 2007 2:28PM My guild's loot distro system for 10-man (and also for 25-man which we do in concert with another smaller guild) sums up as follows:
DON'T BE A DICK.
Roll if it's an upgrade for you, pass if someone else can use it better. It works for us. DKP and other systems seem like a solution in search of a problem, if your guild is mature enough to behave like adults instead of going OMG PHAT EPIXXX LAWL.

here's a screenshot of what I ended up with. Not entirely finished (I've done away with the right-hand bar in my final version). At the bottom left of the right-hand bar is my Autobar. Warlock utilities are the three buttons on the minimap from ShardAce. DoTimer is the little dot on the far left. Unit frames are Pitbull and I use Baggins instead of Bagnon for inventory. Party goes where it does on Taeo's; in raids I hide the party and use Grid down there for raidframes because of how space-effective it is.
Anyway - thanks for the great UI base, Taeo. Just a little more tweaking and it'll be perfect. :)
Aug 1st 2007 4:39PM I don't know if I can handle doing manual-only updating, given that you've a ton of addons and I went and plugged 10 or 15 more in... :D I can tell WAU to not update certain mods, though, and I plan to roll with PitBull instead of AGUF just 'cause it's what I know best, with Grid for raiding. Are there any other addons (outside of ClearFont) that have been tweaked enough that they shouldn't be updated?
Aug 1st 2007 12:56PM I ended up getting it running, and then spent a bunch of time getting my old mods worked into it. I prefer Bongoes (better keybinding FTW) and as a warlock I do need some different things from a UI. I also use Geist for my rarely-used abilities, rather than the sidebar, etc. Krystalle's instructions were quite accurate.
I'd also like to mention that the right-side bar is not, apparently, linked to the texture called "Left." It needs to be moved on its own, I believe it's called "Bars" or soemthing similar in the dArt control panel.
Finally, after getting everything done, I made the mistake of updating my mods with WowAceUpdater and appear to have lost some formatting, specifically the custom fonts and the Onyx texture for cycircled.... I presume these fonts were added directly into ClearFont by you, Taeo, and thus lost when WowAceUpdater grabbed the "official" version of the mod? The Onyx texture can easily be found and reinstalled, tho.
regarding the buffbars, I believe configuration for them is accessed with "/ebb config," you should be able to unlock them from there and move them as much as your heart desires.
Jul 31st 2007 6:45PM Oh, the panel is just a single texture? Wow, then that's easily doable. The last time I tried to modify a dart interface I had like 30 textures to move, and that was a friggin' nightmare, so when I loaded this one I got stuck in a flashback and deleted it immediately. :P
If the bottom panel's really only one piece, that's trivial, I can get all up on that.
We'll see what happens when I jump back in. Thanks very much for your explanation.
Jul 31st 2007 5:36PM @45 - I run 1680x1050 as well, and though my UI-fu is fairly strong, I don't know discord art at all. If you happened to have it in your heart to hook me up, either with some tips for getting the bottom texture configured or with an interface/wtf dump, gimme (at) hivemonkey.com would love to hear from you.
In other news, this UI is amazing. Big props to Taeo.
Jun 20th 2007 7:14PM Also - to be extremely technical - Death Coil isn't a fear effect, it's a horror effect. Which is like fear, except harder to break. At the moment, it's the only horror effect in the game.
Jun 20th 2007 7:13PM You might mention that Seed of Corruption does an aoe not after it's done its damage, but after the target has taken 1050 damage from any source. When you use it on a group's kill target, it blows instantly.
Also, it is full of awesome and win. And it aggros things through walls and wipes your group in Karazhan. Ah well.
