Blizzard fights ingame spam (and the addon meant to stop it) {WoW}

May 8th 2007 4:32PM I like the idea of being able to have below level 10 or so auto-ignore. At least the option to. It would at least make them work through 10 levels or so to spam. Could make it easier to track the accounts. That's another thing I don't get. Either they have a buttload of credit cards and are starting new trials with each account spamming from, or blizz is slacking. There's got to be a way to track who's CC created "xedlbidnslwei" no?

Social guild events {WoW}

Feb 22nd 2007 4:11PM My guild has been known to have a nekked gnome race. Our first one was going from IF to Org bank. It was really fun. We gave away 1st 2nd and 3rd place prizes of Gold (donated by officers), enchantments, bags etc. and whatever any players wanted to donate.

This is especially fun and challenging on a PvP server might I add!

Rules are pretty simple. Start up a new toon at gnome/dwarf starting point, get it to IF entrance (usually dying once). Get nekked. Get to Org bank first using any path you wish.

The only rule we didn't manage figure out until it was happening was "You can't die and run dead all the way and respawn at the closest point to the end of the race!". You also need to keep an eye on any exploits. Usually 3 or 4 people to follow and monitor is good to have. A druid or Rogue will have to get into the orgrimar bank.

Warlock Spells: Incinerate {WoW}

Rep grinds: Too much, too little, or just right? {WoW}

Jan 25th 2007 11:36AM I find most rep grinds boring as hell. Especially the CC and Timbermaw ones. Of course at the time I had to do them everyone in my guild had already done them so finding a good mage faction farm could not be found at all for me. As a priest, popping things one at a time just for 1-5 points of faction is almost as bad if not worse than sitting around, drinking a beer and fishing..

Breakfast topic: The mystery of WoWdar {WoW}

Jan 23rd 2007 3:04PM #16 and 18's stories seriously rock!

I just started a new job yesterday 1-22. My manager walked me around and had me pick out a cube. I proceeded to set up my laptop and I can overhear a couple guys talking about role-playing someone's character and stuff. I'm thinking, no, not WoW, maybe D&D? Then I hear Lordearon (or however it's spelt). I narrow down the office and walk in "So what server you guys on?" lol. I can hear them talking WoW right now as I'm typing this. I feel so at home. Appearently 6 or so guys in this cube-farm all play.
