Arcane Brilliance: Macros for mages {WoW}

Mar 28th 2010 12:27PM Like theatermusic87, I use a macro for fast polymorph - it has saved my bacon numerous times when getting jumped by enemies or in bgs/arenas:

#show tooltip Polymorph
/cast Presence of Mind
/cast Polymorph

Wanted to reiterate it, as it is a critical spell... also good on loose instance mobs or numerous grinding mobs in a pinch at lower levels.

Breakfast Topic: The Eternal Stairway {WoW}

Mar 8th 2010 9:45AM Gear is ok, but secondary to play for me. The story quest lines, like in the Eastern Plaguelands (even the one to retrieve a doll for a ghost), or the Battle in front of the Wrathgate in Dragonblight followed by the Battle of Undercity. I even liked the Netherwing grind, because there was a good story there. I don't even remember the gear or money that dropped from those (except that lovely drake). It did and does not matter. But I remember the story, and how Blizz worked us into it.

Heck, even Halls of Reflections and Culling of Strat seem more memorable and interesting to me than all of Naxx.

Gear is useful, but, as much as I like WoW, it reminds me of old Monty Hall Dungeons we used to have with DnD back in the day.
