Jul 27th 2011 10:34AM I never appreciated how much these drm schemes hurt legit consumers until I got deployed for 6 months without an internet connection. Who would have guessed Company of Heroes, purchased through steam DIGITALLY requires a disc to be inserted to play offline.
May 26th 2008 3:17AM Please explain to me how it's a sensitive manner. Is blizzard going to come after you legally? I highly doubt it, there's no legal ground to stand on. Are they going to withhold beta/convention invites? That's what i'm thinking is really going on. I just want to know why you say one thing, then do the other, and don't accept it as hypocrisy, but an "evolution of policy". I love this site, but between this, recent posts ranting about racism, and ridiculing ex guildies who quit with a macro (That's newsworthy!), it becomes harder and harder to defend any credibility this site still has.
May 25th 2008 8:49PM What happened to not reporting on anything that's been leaked for the beta? Tons of bloggers are trying to prove they can maintain a high level of journalistic credibility, and you guys seem to change your mind regarding your policy on this daily. Your readers aren't stupid, please stop acting like they are.
May 7th 2008 3:13PM So does this mean Half-Life 3 is going to come out right after, and completely overshadow the game?
I felt so bad for Doom 3, all the hard work on a new engine, and they get blown out of the water 2 months later by source.
Dec 16th 2007 1:30PM Exactly, I dont know why so many people whole heartedly agree with what happened in this story.
I once got in trouble in my middle school for talking about paintball AFTERSCHOOL and OFF CAMPUS. A student who I didn't get along with, and was a well known attention whore, said I was making threats about bringing a gun to school. Instead of checking to make sure what was really said, they took her word as fact, and terminated my transfer.
This kid really does seem like a dumb ass, but I would like to know if these two got into an argument online, and the other player reported him because he wanted to be funny/win the argument/screw with the other kid
Nov 3rd 2007 4:05PM Team Fortress 2, Saints Row, Call of Duty 3, Far Cry... Should I go on?
PC reviews always take bugs into account, yet I've rarely seen a console review that talks about bugs. Yes, most bugs are seen when the games released, and they get patched withing a month or two, but still, PC games get their score lowered for bugs like this, while console reviewers keep consumers completely oblivious to any bugs they encounter, unless the game is completely unplayable because of it.
Nov 3rd 2007 2:23PM I've never understood why bugs in a PC game negatively affect its review, but seem to be completely ignored in console reviews. Most 360 games are riddled with bugs at least a month after launch, and you never hear anything about it in reviews.
Oct 30th 2007 1:45AM It looks alot like Ace Combat, you control gorgeous characters in a drab, uninspired environment.
Oct 29th 2007 10:43PM I absolutely ADORE women in raids... who else is going to bake team cookies? :-P
