Apr 29th 2008 4:26PM I used to get burned out on my shaman quite a bit after raiding 4 required days during the week and a couple of pug ZA or Karas on the weekend. What I usually did to break the tedium was respec. I raided resto, so this usually meant I went enhance (kara level gear, 8k health!) or elemental (S2 arena set) into BGs and mixed it up a bit. Anytime you get a break from the norm is a good thing imo =D

Apr 7th 2008 2:42PM That map location corresponds to the University Hills housing, operated by the University of California for professors at UCI. The Blizzard HQ has recently moved (the OC Register has an article on their new location), but was previously located at the UCI research park, about 1/2 west of the current pin location on the google map.

May 9th 2007 1:24PM I have mixed feelings on this issue. Contrary to my initial thoughts, I thought the shaman had a fair review (for the most part) and that most of the complainers were QQing. Then I read this post: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=101920227&sid=1&pageNo=1 It's a summation of all the posts regarding coming improvements to the shaman class, none of which have come to fruition. This ticked me off, and I joined up with my shaman bretheren to voice my discontent.
Now, there are lots of issues brought up in the shaman forums that I won't deal with specifically, but I did want to highlight one situation I found myself in two days ago. A hunter buddy of mine (on my arena team, 10k hp unbuffed, kara / gladiator gear) challenged me to see who could be the top DPSer in some EotS games. We played 3 matches, and I was tops in damage in 2 of them. Now, you're probably saying "so what, shaman have always been good in pvp, I'm not surprised" and I would normally agree, except that the majority of my talent points are in RESTO (30/0/31). Why is a hybrid spec out damaging a dps class? I would be interested to see how people respond to that statement.
Apr 6th 2007 4:55PM MT in our guild came up w/ an awesome strat for clearing the pre-curator trash. The larger mana elementals have a mana shield, but low hitpoints. They drop the shield as soon as combat ends, so if you pull with a hunter who then feigns death he can pop right back up and 2-shot the big guy making the pulls much faster and easier. We went from getting 1 attempt on the curator, 2 if we were lucky, to having 3 full attempts every trash clear using this strat.
