Feb 1st 2009 12:39PM I submit that this is a better link to view the dance:
Feb 1st 2009 3:47AM Yeah, but on the up-side it does hit everyone in the raid (within 100 yards of the elemental) rather than getting applied to only a few people. It's still definitely not as good as the official replenishment, but might be worth considering for some guilds if mana is an issue.
Jan 3rd 2009 7:30PM As a mage who is just about to level 73 on my main, I support this guide. :)
Nov 12th 2008 9:14AM There's an option where you can turn off the red entirely from the beginning, so I guess you're just forced to play the game that way the entire time. :(
Sep 27th 2008 11:47PM Why all the hate for Flamestrike? If you're spec'd fire is it really that much better to use Blizzard or AE? At least the inital hit can crit and then ignite... and you don't have to channel it so you can throw in blast wave/dragon's breath or whatever else while the dot ticks.
Sep 4th 2008 9:29PM LOL @ 2X4's
I'm easily amused I guess...
Aug 14th 2008 2:14PM Um, nevermind I think later comments answer my question.
It sounds like it really is a boss with 20 different "stages" which each can take more than an hour. Someone should drag the game designer responsible for this out into the street and shoot him/her.
Aug 14th 2008 2:05PM That makes this seem much more sensible - if the boss can be killed once in a reasonable amount of time and then comes back because they aren't "doin it rite" then I can see that.
On the other hand, I still wouldn't keep trying to figure out how to kill it for 18 hours straight.
If that's true though, why would they think "another 5 or 6 hours" and they could have had it?
Aug 12th 2008 5:11PM Something tells me it isn't going to take very long...
