Divine Providence buffed, still worthless {WoW}

Oct 16th 2008 5:57PM I did Black Temple last night.
Here is link to all the wowmeter (the new WWS) reports. I decimated the healing charts all because of circle of healing.
Naj: CoH=68%, ProM=16%
Supremus: CoH=13%, ProM=24%
Shade (boss only, not adds): CoH=73%, ProM=4%
Teron (lol, I used CoH to proc surge for more smites): CoH=78%, ProM=17%
Bloodboil: CoH=73%, ProM=15%

WWS from the entire run (trash+bosses):

Prom: 14%
Renew: 6%
Flash: 4%
GHeal: 2%
Glyph of PW:S - 1%

Seems to me like AoE healing is essential for raiding (at least currantly). But I don't believe a 3 second reduction on Prom is enough. I think it needs to be a drastic reduction (5+ seconds) which would give holy the ability not only to heal better in PvE, but give them viability in PvP.

Shaman changes in Wrath beta build 8982 {WoW}

Sep 25th 2008 3:25PM Haha. Damn in my excitement I forgot to think about totem schools. /bummer

Shaman changes in Wrath beta build 8982 {WoW}

Sep 24th 2008 8:27PM This will quite possibly completely change shaman in arena depending on how this implemented. If it protects all totems until it's absorbed it's full amount of health, it will take a DPS class to take it down or a healer a large amount of mana or time (wanding). If it also stuns anyone hitting any totem while it's up, then this spell will be INCREDIBLE.

With constant fear breaks, Spell absorption from CC and Snare removal (Enhance) while this totem is up it has the potential to be a very big threat in arena.

The 30second cooldown makes this situational instead of a constant problem, but forcing players to find this totem, kill it before handling others totems can and will be a big deal when used at certain crucial moments.

Interesting change.

Honor points and marks reset in WotLK {WoW}

Sep 23rd 2008 6:34PM I finished my honor grind with 3 honor points to spare.

Since then I've been doing the BG daily just to get a quick 800 honor for 20minutes (assuming it isn't AV which I skip because the horde loses 95% on my Battle Group).

I'm sad this change is going to go live because it will actually FORCE ME TO GRIND HONOR. Doing the daily is ok and fun for me. After that I'm bored of battlegrounds because no matter how much effort I put into a BG, the determining factor to winning is how many retards I'm unlucky enough to get queued with.

This change saddens me.

Balance buffed, Resto nerfed in 8962 {WoW}

Sep 18th 2008 7:49PM Remember with just 13 points in Balance you can have 10second Lifeblooms... Or roughly a 43% increase in the spells effectiveness. With the Base GCD to lifebloom reduced thanks to gift of the Earthmother, this will allow up to 8 stacks of rolling Lifeblooms.

As a person who has a Priest and a Druid I have to say these changes are not that earth shattering (although the nerf to flourish was a bit over the top).

I think the thing they should do to Wild Growth now is give it the ability to stack like lifebloom and give it intelligent targeting (get the people with the lowest HP).

Shadow Priests beaten to death in the Wrath beta {WoW}

Sep 11th 2008 7:35PM As someone who plays a mage/priest/druid/warrior in beta.

Prot warriors still look fantastic. And the new party Based spell reflect is great.

Mages are still fairly... bland.

Resto/Balance druids have continually stayed fairly impressive. I'm on the fence about feral.

Priests... Shadow stopped being interesting. Holy Got nerfed incredibly hard. And disc would be the only healing class that would never get to see credit for the majority of it's healing. Priests in general got hit VERY hard in this patch. Shadow priests just took the hits hardest.

Instant Corruption and other infernal joys {WoW}

Sep 10th 2008 2:49PM

"You keep your pet.
You keep your spells.
It buffs spell damage (for that "blow your cooldowns" feel).
It buffs mitigation (you could even tank for a bit).
It provides the current snare reduction for PvP."

*45sec duration.
*40% more dmg
*50% less snare/stun duration (65% with a meta)
*No drawbacks. Ie full range of spells and abilities available to the warlock
*More abilities to use
*600% armor is roughly 20,190 AC on a full S4 warlock (3365 armor). Or 24.17% reduction to 65.66% (41% more physical mitigation)
*keep your pet (-15% dmg reduction on top of the 41% more physical mitigation)

Sounds pretty godly to me.

Instant Corruption and other infernal joys {WoW}

Sep 10th 2008 10:07AM ooop. 45 second duration GOD MODE with a 5min cooldown.

Instant Corruption and other infernal joys {WoW}

Sep 10th 2008 10:06AM Ooop. sorry. 45sec duration GOD MODE with a 5min CD...

Instant Corruption and other infernal joys {WoW}

Sep 10th 2008 10:04AM So warlocks will have near immunity to stuns/snares. They can spell cast. And they will have 600% armor... On a spell with no time limit...

Wow... Grats warlocks. You just got GOD MODE in pvp.
