AddOn Spotlight: Visual Heal {WoW}

Nov 4th 2007 3:38PM I use the good old CTRaid, and set it so it shows the health deficiency of people in the raid (-1500) for example. Based on that I figure out which heal to use, since I know the average amount healed by my spells.
This works great for me, but I want to experiment and try "Healbot or Grid+Clique" which poster three mentioned =)

The Naaru's new fashion statement {WoW}

Oct 15th 2007 5:12PM Now you are saying that the plate set looks cool, but let me ask you this: does it look like plate? Hell no! Its made of wood and cloth, and a lot of paint...
How is wood going to protect me from swords and axes? And what about those fire mages who will just set me on fire...

A concerned warrior.

Turn and face the strange {WoW}

Oct 12th 2007 2:06PM lol i was the main tank with a 31/5/15 spec as well, and our guild did pretty good. We cleared bwl, AQ40 up to twin emps, and killed a boss in naxx. And my tanking was clearly not what was stopping us from progressing further. It was the good old guild drama about various issues.
So imagine how much i was pissed when BC came out and i started sucking at tanking with my pvp spec =/

WoW Moviewatch: Stupid Mage Tricks {WoW}

Sep 29th 2007 1:24PM Lol, it has never been a test for skill to kill kitable melee mobs as a mage =) I had a 60 mage and I could kill lvl 60 elites completely naked. And I was horrible at playing my mage too. The test for skill is PvP - how well you do against real people.

WoW Moviewatch: Soloing Blackrock Depths {WoW}

Aug 19th 2007 4:28PM Magmy, I guess I will try to solo UD tonight, although my gear is slightly worse than yours.

I actually like running HU because I can even make some money from it. The Righteous Orbs go for 50g on my server =)

However, when you enter HU you have to fight those packs of undead mobs. They always give you a dot which prevents you from regenerating health for 10 minutes and does 150 damage every 5 seconds. How do you handle this dot? Because after i kill the group of undead mobs I take my gear off and die. And I usually have to fight two of these groups.

WoW Moviewatch: Soloing Blackrock Depths {WoW}

I actually soloed Cannon Master and Timmy on my war. Had to burn recklessness on Timmy though. But did you actually solo UD part as well? People told me that it is impossible to solo as a warrior, that is why I did not even bother.

I also tried soloing Scholo on my war, and guess what? Killed Rattlegore and Butcher, but those mobs that become immune to physical damage at 20% are impossible to kill as a warrior =(

Aug 19th 2007 2:50PM Yeah, BRD is very easy to solo... I wouldnt bother making a movie about it...

Two Bosses Enter: Doom Lord Kazzak vs. Vaelastrasz the Corrupt {WoW}

Aug 19th 2007 11:18AM "at the beginning of the fight, you receive a buff giving you (essentially) unlimited health, mana, and rage regeneration for three minutes."
Actually the essence of red buff does not give you unlimited health regeneration. Only crazy energy, rage, mana regen.

Two Bosses Enter: Ossirian vs. Al'ar {WoW}

Jul 22nd 2007 10:09PM The NPCs are programmed to fight a certain way. Al'ar is not programmed to click the stones to get Ossirian our of his supreme mode. If their health is approximately the same, then Ossirian would easily kill Al'ar, who's AoE will not even do much damage to Ossirian, because he is all by himself.
Ossirian's tornadoes will also take care of the adds.

Two Bosses Enter: The Four Horsemen vs. The Twin Emperors {WoW}

Jul 9th 2007 1:19PM Yeah, there is no way 4h will ever beat twin emps, because they will have no way to separate them and do enough physical damage, so the twins will just heal each other. In fact twins will probably leave the battle with full health.
It looks like the 4h are winning so far, which is most likely due to most readers not being familiar with the encounters, so they just pick the bosses of a harder instance.
